Loved the secluded private cabin. Views were stunning from the wonderful deck. It was peaceful and a refreshing week away. The cabin was furnished well and the kitchen had all we needed to cook the little we did. Very nice grill that we took advantage of. Loved the fireplace!! Would highly recommend this cabin. The Host was very attentive and wonderful to work with.

The house was just as described except that the views were even more spectacular in person. The bed was comfy, the showers had great water pressure, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. The hot tub was icing on the cake. We loved it and will likely stay again sometime. Can’t recommend highly enough! Also, Lansing is adorable.

Celebrating 56 anniversary

Property was quaint with a beautiful view. We were out early in the morning for coffee and looking at the view. At night, having coffee and looking at the beautiful sunset and stars.

Wonderful cottage. Perfect for me and my wife for a long, relaxing weekend getaway in the mountains. Very clean and well maintained.I can’t stress this enough: The view is jaw droppingly stunning. Just gorgeous. Mountain views galore and a river below to boot. Just outstanding! A feast for the eyes!While there are a few homes in the distant view they are so far away you still feel completely secluded.Great communication with the owner on a few insignificant questions, e.g. is the grill charcoal or propane (it’s propane, thank goodness). The cottage is very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, Keurig, etc. I brought some extra things and never needed to use them. It’s obviously been updated in some critical areas like the bathrooms.Plenty of sitting room inside and out (very impressed with the set-up. I really can’t say enough about this place. Absolutely no complaints. Well done owners!

Exactly as described secluded but easy to find, peaceful & quiet just as we wanted. We had a great time sitting on the porch, the view is beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us.

Awesome stay

We found the cabin clean and tastefully decorated. It is surrounded by trees so if you are looking for a secluded spot this is the place. We loved the privacy. The view is amazing and we could hear the river below running. We highly recommend this cabin and look forward to our next stay.

Quiet seclusion

Sitting on the deck we could hear the sounds of rustling wind thru trees, the flowing New River below, and birdsong. Nothing else. An occasional car, some cleanup noise from the hurricane. Otherwise, Utter silence.The cabin was tidy, with all necessary items for our stay, the owner very helpful, a great place for a get away. The solitude was cathartic! Will visit again.

Excellent Stay

We had a great extended weekend at this property! It was very clean and well equipped with all of the basics that we needed during our stay. The hot tub was wonderful and offered beautiful views. Definitely recommend this property for couples or families!

Great View!

The stay was good. The well head was frozen when we got there but got the water moving. The host was responsive and had a good attitude. I give 5 stars because the weather shouldn't give a bad mark to the owner or property. Clean environment, really cool view, and perfect for a husband and wife getaway. Not normally the luxury I'm used to, but this place was an enjoyable stay for the weekend. I would recommend this cabin to any couple looking to get away for a secluded relaxing stay.
