Positives-Host is very responsive. Setting is breathtaking for watching eagles and watercraft. House, furniture and appliances are new and high quality. Negatives-train tracks are very near and 100-car trains come through 5-6 times a day and night, disrupting sleep. Main queen bed squeaks and seems like box spring/headboard and frame need replacing. Furnace is loud and pulls air from bedroom making the north bedroom next to bathroom unusable.

Beautiful sunrises on the Mississippi River! We had a great experience at this property. The home was exactly as described -- clean, comfortable and beautifully maintained. The host was very friendly and responsive. We hope to return again!

Beautiful, quiet, and very comfortable! Caught a large Northern off the dock! Watched sunrises around the fire pit and stars at night! Have been to Lansing before, but this was a perfect trip! Thankyou so much!

The cabin was clean, the scenery was beautiful, the entire stay was great! Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay at your place. It was so clean, kid friendly, and plenty to do. We enjoy coming out this way every year for the fall atmosphere and will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Reel Paradise! We surprised our mom for her birthday with a stay at this beautiful home. We woke up to beautiful sunrises and a great view of the Mississippi River. Would definitely recommend a getaway at this property.

Great views and location on Pool 9

We’ve stayed here before and will again. This is a great place for a family getaway. New boat and fishing docks are excellent. Very spacious, clean and enjoyable accommodations.

Such a wonderful place! From the welcome basket, games, ample towels, dishes, seating, you name it. Cleanliness was great. Location was great.The view was phenomenal, along with the screened in porch, and outside patio. The LP was ready to go in the grill and fireplace. Alexa in the screened in porch came in handy playing cards and bags on the patio. The trains going by a couple times a day were enjoyable for us to watch. Access to the water and dock availability worked perfectly for our weekend pontoon adventures. Highly would recommend the Reel Paradise at Shore Slough! Thank you to the hosts.

Reel Paradise almost

Lakeside Family Retreat

Great location! Very clean, true to photos, and all amenities listed were available and easy to access. Comfortably fit 7 adults (two couples, 3 singles) and 4 vehicles. Would stay again!

Great house for a family trip

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Reel Paradise. The views were spectacular, fishing was good, and the home was well kept and comfortable. The hosts are wonderfully friendly as well, and there were lots of personal touches that made it feel nicer than a hotel or bare bones rental. Having a dock available was a huge benefit for our fishing trip. We had plenty of room for 7 people (three kids), and there was a lot of space to hang out both inside and outside. Instructions were clear for check in, check out, property usage, etc. I gave 4 stars for listing accuracy, because the driveway was very steep and awkward to get into and the ramp down to the dock was very steep also. We were able to adjust, but it was kind of a surprise when we got there. These things are understandable based on the lay of the land, we just weren't super prepared for it because we weren't all that familiar with the area.

Relaxing

Just wanted a place to unwind for a few days. This place really offered that with a great view. The town its self was really nice and had some great places to eat. You don’t have to have a boat to enjoy this place! We will back for sure and look forward to it.

Get away vaca!

Loved it so much! The screened-in porch was my spot all week! We sat out there during the storm, the breeze was great and the rain on the water was beautiful. The views were amazing! We have put this place on our return list, definitely!

Vacation

Great place on the river, just off the channel. Parked the boat at the dock for the week right in front of the house. Gas available on the river, less than 1/2 mile away. The house was wonderful, use of the garage was also nice. Really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect Vacation Spot

There was a large group of us with 2 young kids, and we had a great time! Even though the river was high resulting in us leaving our boat at home, we still made the best of it. We brought a blow up pool and used it for the time being. The screened in porch was our absolute favorite as anywhere along the river is going to be buggy especially at nighttime. So we were able to enjoy the outdoors more and play a few card games around the patio table. Plus, the view is so beautiful and perfect spot to drink your morning coffee. Would most definitely stay again!!
