    LA CASA PRINCIPAL

    La casa principal es una cabaña de madera tradicional con 4 dormitorios. En la gran sala, Wally the Moose te recibirá, que vigila desde su percha sobre la chimenea (siempre es un éxito entre los niños). La planta principal tiene 2 dormitorios: la suite principal (totalmente renovada en 2013) con una cama king y una habitación de invitados con una cama queen. La cocina (renovada en 2014) está construida para una multitud con amplio armario y espacio de preparación, un refrigerador grande y una gama Viking de 48 pulgadas con hornos dobles. Arriba encontrará un acogedor espacio para dormir con 2 camas individuales. El sótano se divide en 2 habitaciones: una tiene 2 camas individuales más con un baño completo adjunto, y la otra es la Big Red Room, nuestra sala de juegos temática de Cornell con mesa de billar y tablero de dardos.

    LA CASA DE INVITADOS

    La casa de huéspedes es perfecta para niños o una unidad familiar. El dormitorio 1 tiene literas (2 dobles) y una cama queen y el dormitorio 2 tiene una cama queen. El estudio tiene asientos para la tripulación, además de un baño completo.

    ALREDEDOR DE LA PROPIEDAD

    Tendrás mucho espacio para disfrutar al aire libre. Tenemos una parrilla de barbacoa Weber en el porche trasero de la casa principal, además de mesas de picnic al aire libre. En el patio encontrarás una hermosa hoguera con asientos al aire libre. El patio es grande y le da mucho espacio para jugar, patear una pelota de fútbol o practicar algunos tiros con fichas.

    Para llegar a la costa, cruzará las vías del ferrocarril que bordean el lado este del lago. Este es un ferrocarril activo, sin embargo, ver trenes es bastante raro, y cuando lo haces, son muy lentos y muy ruidosos. Los pocos huéspedes que hemos tenido que los han visto pensaron que agregaba aún más encanto a sus vacaciones.

    Desde allí, bajará un conjunto de escalones hasta el rellano, nuestra gran terraza en la cima de la casa del barco con muchos asientos y un cenador para sombra. Un nivel más de escaleras lo lleva a la playa, donde encontrará 4 kayaks para su disfrute, un muelle con elevador de botes y una cala de natación perfecta que se inclina suavemente hacia el agua.

Great property with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and find their own little piece of calm, yet great spaces to gather for meals and socializing. Very comfortable with our 5 couples and would definitely recommend for larger gatherings.

Fantastic dual cabin set up for the extended family. All the amenities one would need for a great stay at a true lakeside property, thank you. Only issue is the high commissions Verbo takes.

Cayuga cabins

This was a great spot for our family. The setting and outdoor space are wonderful. The large wrap around deck, fire pit and lake area where our favorite spots! House was very clean and a nice spot for a group or family. Steve, the host, was very responsive and gave us some great recommendations for the area.

We loved our stay! It was homey, the large wrap around porch was amazing and the lake view was great

The property was rustic in a positive way -- it was exactly what we were looking for. It was our first experience renting a house and bringing our dogs and it could not have been better. The house and property is well kept, the kitchen well stocked and the owner was super helpful.

A Retreat Success!

We hosted our first "escape to the lake" womens retreat, and this location was perfect for us. We enjoyed a trip to the local waterfalls and spent time bybthe lake and around the fireplace. The kitchen was well suited for making incredible meals and gathering at the big table for conversation and connection. The wrap around porch was delightful for afternoon reading and conversations. It was a great location and experience!

Love this property...

My group of college buddies stayed here for Cornell homecoming and it worked out perfectly. The owner was super responsive to requests, the accommodations worked very well and easily accommodated our dozen or so attendees. Beautiful view of Lake Cayuga and getting to and from campus was not a problem. Made for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend of sitting on the porch overlooking the lake and reuniting.

Absolutely wonderful!

What a beautiful location and property! It was really clean and handled our group of ten with ease. The covered, wrap around porch was a favorite place to have our dinners. One thing was that we couldn’t find some kitchen amenities that we are accustomed to at VRBO, like salt and pepper shakers- But there were both keurig and drip coffee makers, which was great for our size group. We highly recommend!

Extended Family Vacation

We had an amazing long weekend at the Cayuga Cabins and really enjoyed the beautiful house and property! There was plenty of space for 11 of us and everything was updated and well maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked which made cooking dinners and relaxing at night very easy. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed a few sunsets down by the dock. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and highly recommend. We hope to come back next October!

Beautiful location

The house was beautiful and the porch was the ideal living space for our week. Tons of room and seating. The 4 kayaks were well used as was the boathouse deck overlooking the water. The home had plenty of space for all our friends and family. The kitchen was the best stocked any of us have ever stayed in. The only downside was not being able to see the dock area from the house, but the steps kept us all in good shape! Lovely home and perfect for a large group.

Great Spot on Lake Cayuga

Cayuga Cabins is an excellent spot right on the water of Lake Cayuga. My group of 12 was very comfortable with ample space and plenty of beds. We thoroughly enjoyed hanging out on the spacious porch, sitting around the firepit, and taking the kayaks out on the lake. The property is very clean and well-maintained. The host, Steve, is excellent as well. He is very responsive and eager to answer any questions about your stay. He also provides recommendations for things to do in the area. I would definitely stay here again!

Terrific Accommodations; Wonderful Spot

My 8 girlfriends and I, all over 60 years old, spent four nights at this beautiful property in early October 2022. The entire process went very smoothly, from our initial inquiries, to booking, to arrival and departure. Our stay was more than we could have hoped for, thanks to the terrific accommodations. The home and grounds are lovely, the kitchen well equipped, the living areas and bedrooms were comfortable. We loved being able to sit together, all of us, on the side deck, at the fire pit, at the dining room table, etc. Everything about our stay went smoothly, thanks to the attention to detail by the property owner.

Beautiful lakefront property for college reunion!

Our group of women from Cornell Class of 2012 and our partners (and a couple of babies!) had an amazing stay at this property the weekend of the total eclipse. The two houses were perfect for our large group and the lake views were unbeatable. The host Steve was incredibly responsive leading up to, during, and after the trip, going above and beyond to make sure a pack'n'play was set up for my friend's 1.5yo and to look for a pair of missing lost ear buds after we left. If/when we ever plan another trip to Ithaca as a group we will definitely consider staying here again!

Absolutely beautiful!!!

We had such a fantastic time here that we extended our stay. From rainy days spend snuggled up by a fire, rounds of pool and darts, to kayaking during stunning sunsets, there was so much to enjoy. We definitely took full advantage of that awesome Viking stove! Rooms and beds were comfortable , bathrooms and kitchen well appointed, they even had a kitchen aid mixer, which made me as a baker, a very happy woman. The grill was nicely setup as well, it was under cover so we were able to use it even while it rained. The lake pavilion was a nicely situated and gave way to stunning views. We sat nights out there with citronella candles just soaking it all in. To start we did a big shopping at the Wegmans in Ithaca ,but the Lansing Market worked well for incidentals. Steve was very attentive , and checked in on us to make sure we were doing well, he’s also very prompt with answering any question we had. I highly recommend this property, we will be back for certain.

Perfect Lakeside Cabin!

This house was spectacular! Perfect for a group of 14. Great views of the lake, fire pit, wrap around deck, close to Cayuga wine trail and all of the others! Host and property manager were awesome. Everyone in the group had an amazing stay. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place for scattered family members to re-connect!

The main cabin has a wrap-around deck and a spacious porch for relaxed family gatherings. Dine on the porch overlooking Lake Cayuga or inside, at tables that seat 10. My grandkids enjoyed swimming in the lake, s'mores at the fire pit, and water balloon battles on the lawn. The adults enjoyed reading, knitting, quiet early morning coffee listening to the birds and after-dinner games.

Nice Home on the Water

We had a nice family reunion at this property. Don't be afraid of the railroad tracks between the house and the water. We never heard/saw a train the whole August week we stayed. Very quiet. While the log cabin home was too dark to spend much time in, we greatly enjoyed being outside on the expansive and comfortable deck. The kitchen has all the amenities you need to cook for a crowd.

The cabins were set on a beautiful property that over looked the lake. The home was clean and the owner was always available. Would recommend this home to anyone making the trip to the Finger Lakes.

Great view

We had friends and family from different parts of NY to meet for New Years House is set up great with a large kitchen and dining table to have meals and play games. The teenagers enjoyed there room in the basement fireplace was perfect for our winter weather Thanks Steve for always responding to any of our questions

Great place!

Property was lovely. Great views of the lake and amazing outdoor space. The kitchen was large and everything one could possibly need. Long dining tBle and charming cozy living room with a fireplace.
