"This was an amazing space for a week away with our kids and spouses, who all live in different cities. Tranquil space with lots of options for more excitement (e.g. surfing lessons), and a constant nature show of birds, monkeys, and other wildlife. Delicious food, and friendly staff who went the extra mile (one of our daughters twisted her knee on the first day and needed a few more rides than we'd planned on). We absolutely plan on another visit, hopefully soon!"

"Generally positive experience. The house was not as isolated as we anticipated. In fact there was a fair amount of traffic on the rough road behind. Lots of bird life - especially macaws. And lots of monkeys. The beach is not really a swimming beach because of the rocky bottom, but Matapalo beach is only about a 25 minute walk away. We stayed three nights, which was enough. Finding the property the first time was a challenge. You definitely need to take the sharp left at the top of the third hill. Don’t go straight down the third and steepest decline! If heat and humidity and cool showers are not your thing this may not be best choice for you. With the pool it easy to cool down."
