"Extremely friendly and helpful staff made the stay most enjoyable especially considering it was over Christmas. Whilst not "luxurious" by Ritz standards, the room was perfectly adequate, comfortable and very clean with all amenities and highly recommended as a base for visiting relatives and the surrounding area. "The only little complaint we had was the checking in process. We were told we’d get an email telling us how to check in which we never got. Also there seemed to be a difference between the info on hotels dot com and the places own website. But other than that, the room was lovely, well equipped, clean, comfortable. The bathroom was amazing and spotless. Would definitely recommend "

"A last minute event meant the we needed somewhere to stay so we decided to treat ourselves to Dinner Bed & Breakfast at the White Lion. It was a bit busy when we arrived but the staff were welcoming though we only go directions to our room as the lad needed to get back to the bar. The room was lovely, generally well appointed. We met my sister in law and her husband for dinner and the food was tea good, nicely presented and delicious too. A great seasonal menu, too full to have dessert. The bed...

"Considering that it was a Best Western and that we've stayed in Best Westerns in different countries, this was the worst. It wasn't cheap, but nevertheless the stay did not include breakfast. It needed renovations. The shower did not work well, very low pressure and the water was either cold or hot. Wi fi was also pretty slow."
