We had a lovely stay at First Light . The hosts were very welcoming and eager to make our stay comfortable. The location couldn't have been better with an amazing view of the Sound and a great deck to sit out and enjoy the sights.

We have traveled to many vrbo's in and out of the country, and this is one of the most outstanding ones we have ever visited. The lodging, the view, the location, but most of all, the amazing hosts. We would come back in a Flash!

As usual (we stayed here last year) our 10-day stay was glorious. What a view! Perfect location. And the family operating the property are the most lovely people. We know where to stay the 3rd time we visit Whidbey.

Wake up early for a gorgeous sunrise , Mark&Mary are amazing hosts very accommodating and friendly, the guest house is very clean private and beautiful we slept so good and the house has everything you need. We cant wait to stay again

This property is always a delight, but it's the hosts who truly elevate the experience. They’re incredibly thoughtful—stocking the fridge with essentials like coffee, tea, half-and-half, butter, and more to make our stay effortless. The peaceful surroundings are a perfect retreat, and we were lucky enough to be greeted by a family of deer each morning. Truly a special place with exceptional hosts

What a beautiful and relaxing place. Abundant wildlife! After our fifth stay, this is definitely "Our Happy Place". As far as hosts, Mark and Mary can't be beat. Already booked for next summer!

Quiet and serene, beautiful view, and reasonably priced especially for short stays. Excellent attention to detail on the small, but meaningful things, like having an electric blanket for watching hummingbirds on the deck, providing real half-n-half with a Nespresso frother, snacks, plenty to do inside and beyond.

Excellent

This was the second time here for us and we absolutely love it. The property is spectacular, and the accommodations are outstanding as well. The view from the deck is so beautiful, it was sometimes hard to leave to go explore the quaint towns in the near by vicinity. We will definitely go back for a third time and more.

Wonderful Whidbey Island Vacation

This was our third time staying here. Mary and Mark are wonderful hosts and they have made their place such a relaxing place to enjoy Langley and Whidbey Island. We enjoyed the comfy bed, plentiful blankets, and coffee in the morning while sitting out on the porch enjoying the beautiful view of the water and mountains in the distance. It was definitely a great place to unwind.

A clean, comfortable guesthouse with all the amenities, including a large deck with an amazing view! Very peaceful place! Hosts are very attentive to your comfort and experience! Short drive to Langley. Highly recommended!

I so highly recommend your staying here! I've vacationed here four times, and every time we start to plan our next trip even before we leave. It has everything you need, including a beautiful deck with gorgeous views. Its proximity to Langley is icing on the cake. This time we took the ferry over to Port Townsend for the day - so fun!
