Family gathering

It had everything that we needed. Quiet, lovely views and great accommodations. The kitchen is well appointed and the grandchildren loved hanging out. The only issue, for us older folks, was the incline of the property. But,that's part of the charm.

Clean and Comfortable

We were very happy about the location, cleanliness, and comfort of this house. The view of the lake was lovely. While we knew we would not have access to the lake, one of the amenities listed was a kayak, so I was holding out some hope that an activity on the water was possible. Unfortunately, this lake is just not accessible to anyone not right on the water, and we never saw a kayak. The smoke detector upstairs was a bit quirky with the shower steam and using the oven, but leaving the doors open/closed make it workable. Overall communications and amenities were fairly sparse/basic and not personalized to the house. Overall, I'd recommend staying here if you're looking to enjoy the Tryon/Landrum area.

My family & I loved this place. We will return again soon.

Property was very clean, warm and welcoming. Beds were very comfortable. We loved the location, the views from the living room facing to the lake was awesome. Everything about this house & the location is wonderful. We will return again soon. The property manager were great too. Thanks so much for making our stay very enjoyable!

Fall Respite

Peaceful view of the mountains and lake. Nice setup on upper deck and downstairs porch. One suggestion would be to have a couple of comfortable chairs by fireplace for those staying upstairs. Room could be reconfigured easily to accommodate this. Current benches make no sense, are not comfortable and adds nothing to the room. We couldn’t get fireplace to work and we couldn’t find anything in the welcome book with instructions. A Fire pit would be welcomed. The house was updated and very clean.

I Live this place!!!

My second time here and I love this house, location, the view…. And can’t wait to get back. This time there were some updates on the house, awesome new landscape in front of boulders, river rock and mulch, We thought it was awesome, a new nice big umbrella for upstairs deck, we were able to spend more time up there, but when it gets buggy or too hot, the screened in porch downstairs is amazing with that same view. I can’t say enough about this little gem. Check it out, you won’t be sorry.

Loved it!

Wonderful setting, great accommodations, management company was wonderful to communicate with. Would definitely rent again. If you like to walk there is the Blue Wall Preserve a half mile from the rental. A very nice out and back walk of 3.5 miles past two ponds and a couple of waterfalls. For a longer hike you can do the Vaughns Gap Trial. Trees still had a lot of color.

Vaca/anniversary get away

Super clean! Beautiful inside and out! Love the gas stove and fire place. I bought a new bulb for the sconce in the stairway because it was burnt out and left an extra that they can put in one of the cabinets if it burns out again. (Those bulbs typically don’t last.) Overall high fives to all and a five star rating!

Cozy house with beautiful view!

I loved it, me and my husband spent five nights there for my birthday. We needed rest and relaxation and that is exactly what we got, with a beautiful view. I cooked every night and was very comfortable in the kitchen. I do bring my own kitchen supplies when I go away, but I enjoyed the gas stove and oven. I can’t wait to go back!! ❤️

Clean, Private and Relaxing

The lake view property is like new. Very quite and clean. A couple of thoughts: Upstairs needed a more comfortable sitting arrangement to enjoy the wonderful view. No local TV. No lake or beach access.
