AMAZING!

Absolutely beautiful, fantastic views as advertised! From dinning, hiking, Hot Air balloon ride, one of our best vacations! Unfortunately we left and a day later the hurricane hit. Ashville, I'm from New York and sent money to help rebuild. Breaks my heart knowing we were just there. Stay safe, God bless all!! 👍🙏

Didn’t disappoint. Awesome stay in the mountains

What a wonderful place. We rented for six days and were able to spend time with our son in college and have he and some friends over for a nice cookout. All the amenities listed were all top-notch. Property is accessible to mini hiking trails national Forest and (Parkway 40 minutes). Landrum has a couple grocery stores, restaurants, and shops, and close by the town Tryon. We definitely plan to be back. Host was very responsive for any questions in needs.

Quiet retreat

We had a wonderful pre-Christmas stay. Loved the location and the privacy. House had everything we needed to keep us entertained - the game room and hot tub were tons of fun. Would definitely recommend it for families or a group of friends.

Mountain Get Away

Our family and pet had a wonderful time. The pool and hot tub were great. Views from the deck and pool excellent. Any issue, only one, was delt with quickly. Any questions also answered quickly. Was nice to see so many stars again.

Softball Tournament Getaway

We stayed at the property for a weekend for our daughter’s softball tournament. Beautiful views from inside and out. We enjoyed cooking off in the large pool. Great local restaurants and grocery store close to property. We would definitely go back!!!

Awesome getaway

We really enjoyed our short stay here. It was amazing even looked better than the pictures. We loved the view from the house, the warm pool and the hot tub. Place was clean and everything was labeled and well organized. We did see a bear close to the property on both days we were there which was a bit scary but pretty cool. Overall it was an awesome place!!!

Nice Pool House

Doug was a great host, we had an issue with the internet and he took care of it quickly. The House was great and the pool was very nice and at the right temperature. House was also very close to town but felt like you was out in the middle of nowhere. We will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful home

My family and I vacation every year together and this was definitely one of our favorite places. Beautiful, clean, had everything we could have possibly needed, and timely communication. We had six kids and they all loved this home. While also giving the 5 adults plenty of space to have quite time. The views are true to picture, breathtaking!

Views!!!

We took the family on a mountain getaway for Thanksgiving. The views from the living room were like a postcard! The extra large dining room was perfect for dinners and game nights. There are two living rooms with large tv's that allow the kids to have their own space. The kitchen was very large with lots of space and very nice appliances. We especially enjoyed the coffee bar that was fully stocked. So many nice things about this house! We enjoyed the hot tub but we want to return in the summer to be able to use the pool! I also should mention there are lots of towels and extra sheets, pillows, and blankets.

Magnificent views!

Bittersweet Retreat was one of the best homes we've rented thru vrbo. As a last minute get away we booked the stay and Doug responded quickly. It's a super location- much closer to Tryon (about 5 or 6 minutes) than we realized so we were able enjoy dining & shopping both in Landrum & Tryon, even though we were only there 3 days! The home is beautifully landscaped with nice grassy areas around the home- unlike many mountain homes you have alot of areas to walk around outside. There's a great firepit area, that you can have a bonfire or just sit amongst the trees and hedges to enjoy the peace and quiet. The pool is huge, clean and kept at a perfect temperature! There were several floats and very nice pool furniture to relax on while sunning! In fact there were many sitting areas outside, on the decks and around the pool and hot tub. The house is very well equipped and everything is labeled so we didn't have to rummage thru every cabinet to find things or flip every switch to figure out the lights- we loved that! Bed were very comfortable, bathrooms were just as pictured! But the most impressive part of this house are the incredible views from every room! With ceiling to floor windows and glass doors in every living area, the dining room and master bedroom, the views were phenomenal! Sunsets were a must see every night with the beautiful colors in the sky behind the mountains as the sun set! This was a great home and enjoyed the stay!
