We spent Christmas week with family at Redstone. The property was AMAZING! Had everything we needed for the week. So unique - discovered something new each day. Our host Lynne was great, quickly responsive with any questions. Hoping to return again in the future!

Beautiful cabin with wonderful amenities and tons of charm! Communication with the property manager was excellent, and check-in/out was a breeze. The location is a bit off the beaten path, and the unique layout takes some flexibility with sleeping arrangements, but overall we had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway!

We enjoyed our time at Redstone, the Host was great, responded very quickly to any questions or needs. The property and facilities are breathtaking.Big Portage Lake is a beautiful lake with crystal clear water.Close to hiking, ATV / UTV, biking trail and several waterfalls in the UP within an hour.Highly recommend this property, especially for larger groups.We are already planning our next stay at Redstone.

Annual family reunion

Redstone is truly a remarkable property which we greatly enjoyed. It is one of a kind property that reflects the builders rather whimsical tastes. Big Portage is a very clean and clean lake that was a pleasure to fish. My family truly had a great time there.

Truly unique and impressive property, with a lot of functional spaces to spread out for relaxing and working (if you absolutely must). Clean lake that is great for swimming. The house was well stocked. We would definitely recommend Redstone.

Absolutely incredible!! Everyone could easily find something to do there and in the local small towns. Great state parks nearby. Places to be alone in the house and toys n games and still get a great view! The Hosts were a great friendly and gracias support.

Blessed to have had the opportunity to stay at such a beautiful place! Redstone is a one of a kind! So much to see! So much to take in! Amenities were great, beds were comfortable! The lake was beautiful, especially the view from the living room window! Our needs were met, plus more! Grandma’s 75th birthday at Redstone

Our Family had a wonderful week at the Redstone property. It was comfortable and more than accommodated our group of 14. This is a high end custom home that truly lives like mountain lodge. The lake was fantastic for both water sports and fishing. We fished in the mornings/evenings and skied/tubed during the day. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful with all our questions/needs. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to stay here again! Thank you Lynn & Gary!

The property and house are more charming than the pictures- we’ve stayed at lot of rental properties and this has been the best.The quality of the furnishing and linens are top notch (new outdoor patio furniture not pictured). kitchen well stocked. Lots of dishes, cups etc. but also lots of pots and pans for any thing you’d need. The home is like an adult treehouse- split over multiple levels with all rooms but the bedrooms open. This was great to have separate spaces for activities, while still feeling connected. Grandparents read books on the couch in the main family room while teens played games in the “board room” on the upper level at night. We vacation with my parents & 2 of my brothers and their families, with kids ages 1yr to college. Enough seating for everyone in the kitchen, and enough places to sit and hang out all week. Plenty of bathrooms. Never felt like we were on top of each other. mother in law suite with it’s own bath that is on the other side of the house- my brother with young kids slept there since their kids went to bed early and got up early- nice to have that separate space. Beds very comfortable and each bedroom has separate A/C temp control. boat launch is very convenient -we pulled the boats and went to different lakes for fishing. Water was warm and crystal clear. Kids had fun catching frogs and turtles.Property manager on site great with communication, very kind. Emptied trash a few times during week.

If you need space for alot of guests, this property is ideal. Not only inside, but beautiful grounds, garage, well equipped fire pits, boathouse with many toys, large dock for boats/pontoon.Clear water for swimming, and easy walk from house to beautiful Big Portage lake.My favorite place was the catwalk to a private space over looking the lake. So peaceful.The home is a work of art. Many of the owners personal treasures you'll most likely will never see again. There's a boardroom, ice cream room, bar room, huge beautiful living room and Professional Kitchen!,besides 7 bedrooms. A focal point is The Gazebo for Wine Time! Just beautiful. Your property managers Lynne & Gary are professionals and it shows as they walk you through the property.We will return for Sled Races and already booked for 2026 Fall. Thank you
