The facilities are excellent, the pool is a delight, surrounding area has a wealth of things to do - e-biking on the coast, walking in the mountains, picturesque mountain villages, hill-top towns like Penne and Chieti, wonderful food (the ice cream!). "This was our 5th year staying at Casale Giacinta. It is an oasis of calm, surrounded by wonderful scenery (mountains and sea) and offers a great base for exploring the national parks of Majella and Gran Sasso or the coast and beaches north and south of Pescara. The villa is really well appointed with air conditioning, well equipped kitchen and there is a barbecue area, bicycles, a table tennis table and a wonderful swimming pool. "We were a group of 15 family and friends visiting the Abruzzo region and Villa Carlucci was just perfect. We cooked as a group almost every night and the long table in the kitchen was perfect for all of us to gather around. Dr. Carlucci was wonderful - very easy to communicate with and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and areas to explore.
