Great house, great neighborhood! Perfect for what we needed. It was such a nice touch that they left eggs for us. It was nice to have for breakfast our first morning. We would definitely stay again if we come back.

Wonderful Getaway

My wife and I do not live too far from this location, yet we felt like we were far away at home. We needed a getaway to ourselves and this was our second stay here. We love the sun porch on this house. The house also offers two gas fireplaces that simply make this house so cozy. The kitchen is modern and very spacious. The neighborhood is very quiet with an occasional horse and buggy clopping by. It may be in a residential area, but once inside, you feel like you are off in a secluded private area.

Great weekend getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Pop’s Place. This is our second time staying at the house! Great location in the beautiful Amish country! The house was very clean and lots of amenities available! The owners were great to work and communicate with! Highly recommend this house!

We had a great stay!!! The property was even better than I thought it would be. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make meals. Connecting to Netflix, Hulu, etc. wasn't great but the live tv was good enough for morning news and the kids didn't have any problems connecting to their ipads/tablets. Air conditioning super cold which is a definite plus. Sitting out on the deck and watching all the butterflies that were around was very enjoyable. The grandchildren loved playing out back - hide and seek. You know when the kids are impressed it must be nice! We would definitely stay here again. If really felt like home away from home. So quite and peaceful. The kids also loved hearing the hooves of the horses go by. The only thing that would be better is a longer stay!!! Thanks for as very enjoyable long weekend.

Family Getaway

Great house!! We really enjoyed the house! Very well cleaned. I love that there were extra toiletries on hand in case we forgot anything! The owners super nice and easy to communicate with! It reminded us of the home we grew up in! We would definitely stay there again!!

The house was great. We all loved the sunroom and having our morning coffee on the deck. The TV in the basement was good because my husband is a night owl and he could watch TV without disturbing the rest of us. The location is amazing. I think the longest drive we had to do the the things we wanted to do was about 20 minutes. We definitely would stay here again.

Great cozy house to stay in

Once a year the Women in our family try to get away together. We attended a women's conference just a couple of miles down the road. The location was perfect, the house met our needs and then some. We wished we had more time to enjoy the outside space. It looked very inviting. We hope to rent the same house next year. Such agreat place to stay. The owners were very attentive to our needs.

Quiet and Convenient Location, Slightly Outdated

Home was very clean, conveniently located about 2 miles from food, gas, shops, etc. Amenities in kitchen were very nice, although we didn’t use much except for coffee maker, some coffee mugs, and the fridge. We were in town for a very short time for a race that we were running in, so honestly we didn’t spend much time in the home. There was a lot of room, so definitely better than a hotel. The house was a little outdated, the futon was difficult to pull out to a bed and the top bunk wasn’t able to be used because it was too close to the ceiling and very wobbly. Would have liked to see a tv on the main floor so we didn’t have to sit in the basement to watch tv. Overall though an above average home to me, for the short stay that we had. Communication with the property manager was great, on point, and fast. No issues, and would stay there again for a weekend trip.

This is one if the most accurately described listing i have heard. The place is in a quiet Amish neighborhood. Fully stocked with anything you may need. Very close to any attractions or stores you nay want. Go and enjoy!!

Excellent experience.

Our stay was great. We had a small issue with the refrigerator at check in and Greg came by to fix it immediately. The home was well stocked and plenty of stuff to cook with in the kitchen. Our kids enjoyed tossing the football in the huge yard. We loved the basement and most of our kids slept on the basement floor sleepover style! We also enjoyed the family board games in the basement. It was so relaxing in a stress free environment. We are returning for another stay in April.

Wonderful!

What a charming property. It touches farmland but is in a small residential area. However, you can enjoy the place and feel like you are far away from everything. You cannot have a more understanding and helpful host. So much more to say, but i don't want to spoil it.

Great home for trips to Strasburg, Dutch Wonderland, etc.

Very nice home, well-kept. Eye toward hospitality with abundant toiletries. The proximity of the property to the Strasburg RR/Railroad Museum of PA and Dutch Wonderland were what brought us to this house -- was ideal for a family with kids (some games/toys in basement were appreciated).
