Thanks for the review. The two issues are completely separate requiring different remedies. The unexpected failure was just a sensor that wasn't lining up correctly which was a pretty easy fix for our on-call elevator techs. The second elevator is scheduled for repair but required parts that took three weeks to come in. Any elevator malfunction is unexpected and requires our on property team to adjust quickly to the situation. We had co-workers stationed at all of the elevator landings during the 2 hours the elevator was down to alert our guests and assist with luggage and kept breakfast open longer to make sure everyone had a chance to enjoy it. It is never ideal to operate with a reduced elevator capacity but the technicians who service the equipment are highly specialized and scheduling major repairs has proven challenging especially around the holidays. We do anticipate both elevators to be fully operational by next week.
