Beautiful gem in Lancaster County

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Red Rose Inn. We felt comfortable in the inn and at the location. So nice to be able to open up the windows in our room! The home is lovely and spacious. Plenty of room to gather and everything we needed was provided.

Couple Getaway

It was wonderful from start to finish. Quiet, spacious accommodations. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed conversation. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Good: Location, friendliness of staff, cleanliness, yummy warm breakfast and fresh fruit. Not so good: Bathroom needs work (cold water knob can leak, shower stall barely big enough and rickety, bathroom next door only separated by locked door letting sound trough.

Very friendly staff, gorgeous B&B & our suitehad multiple rooms with a jacuzzi & w/d. A delicious homemade breakfast both mornings was included in the price, Bible verses all around the B&B, & many more including close to many Lancaster hot spots. I could not rave more about this place. We will definitely be back for another stay!!! A+++++++++++++++++

Peaceful, lovely Inn with old world charm. Laura, the host, was most accommodating and made delicious Breakfasts every morning. It was a joy to stay there.

Hospitality at its best

Just a wonderful place to enjoy, especially during slow season, as we enjoy traveling during that time. Staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful, cannot say enough good about them. Definitely a place to return to.

The price was right! The Beloved Suite was very spacious. There were some challenges as my husband's diet is gluten free and dairy free and Red Rose Bed and Breakfast wasn't able to accommodate us. We drove to a nearby Amish restaurant, which was fine, too. There were some stains on the carpets and ceilings were peeling in some areas, too. The king-size bed looked inviting, but was very hard. It worked for my husband, but was very uncomfortable for myself.

The service was excellent and breakfast each morning was delicious. The room was very comfortable, very clean, and very private. We cannot imagine how our accommodation could have been improved.

Bnb run by Amish family.

Hostess was good,breakfast was good, clean but carpet needs shampooing, needed to give clean towels daily. It is a bit rustic.

Has room for improvement.

It was ok, not like other bed & breakfast we’ve stayed at. Never saw the inn keeper other than when we checked in. No TV’s in any of the rooms, not a big deal but others might like to watch TV.

Great Bed and Breakfast! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved the hearty breakfast and the location is real close to the different attractions in Lancaster. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Lancaster PA.

Wonderful, wonderful people. Great location, close to everything. Food was very good and made to order. If you are looking for a place to, "get off the grid" for a few days and just unwind, this is the place. We would book this B&B again.

This place is a beautiful historic home that has been well maintained and updated. Staff was very friendly. Added bonus: there are goats and bunnies on the property that you can (try to) pet!

A nice few days away for our Anniversary. We stayed in the Beloved Suite. Room was nice, but a little on the warm side. Only had 1 window a/c in the bedroom. The rest of the suite had no a/c. The Jacuzzi room was pleasant. The shower was a little small. The laundry room was a nice surprise. The "living room" in the suite was a little disappointing. The TV was on the small side, and the wi-fi was "iffy" at best causing the tv to go out. Laura was a great host, and the breakfast was delicious. All-in-all, it was a decent stay

Peaceful and hospitable

Tried this out instead of our normal Hampton Inn stay because it was more affordable and wanted to do something different. Loved the old fashioned farm house feel. Was clean, comfortable, and staff were very hospitable. Breakfast made from scratch by a Mother and her Daughter was delicious! Stayed in the “beloved” romantic suite with spouse. Will definitely be back, and most likely bring the kids too. Separate room with Apple TV, private jacuzzi tub, so peaceful and quiet the entire weekend. Loved how warm and welcoming the staff were. The scriptures on the wall were a nice touch.

Clean, comfortable and peaceful B & B

To begin with, this B & B was easy to find and had ample on site parking. The innkeeper, Laura, met us at our arrival and showed us to our room on the second level. My mother and I had a restful sleep both nights and enjoyed a hearty Amish breakfast each morning. I would recommend the Red Rose B & B especially if you are looking for a calm, and peaceful inn experience. We had no trouble navigating the stairs to the second floor however guests need to be aware that all five guest rooms are on the second floor. Thank you, Laura, Sally and Lena, for a most restful and restorative weekend in Amish country!

This is my first time staying at a bed and breakfast place. The brother welcomed us and showed us our rooms, the mom and sister cooked probably the best full breakfast me and my spouse had in years. The room was clean and spacious. The house is close to the Tanger Outlets, Dutch Wonderland and other Lancaster tourist spots.Very good family, home and I highly recommend this place.

Hidden Lancaster Gem

The owner was super friendly and approachable. Breakfast was AMAZING. The room was spotless. Lying in bed and listening to the horses hooves as the buggies drove up and down the street. We'll definitely be back! :)

ok if you are not hanging around

first thing was a space heater for heat. I would have preferred that the radiator heat system was working. next I noticed no central AC units for warmer weather. so I assume you will either sweat or they will install window units. don't know yet. next was no tv in the rooms, but there was wifi so I was able to use my laptop to access entertainment in the evenings and early mornings when I was in the room. you can hear everything in the house, hence the need to some noise from the tv or even a radio would have been nice. the view was of a barn roof 4 feet away. breakfast was ok just not of my liking. I would prefer a more common choice. over all its not a bad place but it wont be my first pick on my next trip, and I do make trips often.
