The house itself was in a state of disarray and full of damp, which made the stay unpleasant.
Additionally the service and communication from the owner was completely subpar; I had mistakenly left some clothes at the house and within 2-hours of checking out I had contacted Expedia customer service who spoke to the owner and confirmed that someone had moved in but the ownerr would email me on Saturday, 2-days later.
The owner did not email me. I waited a further 5-days before contacting Expedia again who gave me the owners number, who was increasingly obstructive. I gave solutions to pick up my clothes same day, on the weekend and weeks later however he kept finding problems and asking to contact him later.
It is now 5 weeks after my stay, and I still haven’t got my clothes back and the owner is no longer picking up my calls.
Would have strongly recommended not staying here even without this issue but the customer service is beyond pathetic.
