We thought the location was centrally located as we ventured out to Kalispel and Whitefish. We stayed in the Yellowstone cabin and the space was sufficient for 2 adults and our puppy. It was nice that the floors were concrete due to the outside area being wet and a bit muddy from the snow melt during this time of year. The bed was very comfortable and there was everything you needed to cook/bbq at the place if you chose to do so. All the amenities were very nice and well thought out. Michelle and David were very accommodating with questions and they provided us many restaurants to choose from for a birthday dinner (we ended up going to Jalisco Cantina in Whitefish and it was delicious and had a great atmosphere)! They also provided an empty growler to fill up with beer at Tamarack Brewing in Lakeside and also dropped off a bottle of champagne for the birthday boy! :-)
For the dog, they provided doggy bags, a pan to wash off your dogs feet and a towel to wipe the dog off along with a nice treat for the pup! We did find out that there aren't a lot of dog friendly restaurants due to the time of year and their patio's not being open quite yet.
If you are looking for privacy in the evenings, there are no curtains in this cabin in the living room/kitchen area.
Overall we had a great time in Lakeside and enjoyed the trip and will definitely go back!
Thanks again David and Michelle
