Great location with every comfort.

What a wonderful home away from home. Decor was beautiful with not a tacky ornament in sight. Location was perfect. Easy walk to everything. Grant and Heidi were ideal hosts; very communicative and providing everything we could need.

Great stay in a great spot

We had a fabulous Australia Day "long weekend" in Lakes Entrance staying at The Wheelhouse. The property is in a great spot - across from the inland river where we could drop our kayaks in super conveniently. Everything was easy walking distance away as well. A couple of things set the property apart and they were driven by the professionalism of the hosts (Grant and Heidi). From the moment we made our booking we were clearly communicated to and set up for a great stay. Nothing was too much trouble including the care packages in the fridge and pantry, advice about the area and general support. Highly recommended if you are looking for something in a great location and well supported.

Great option for a weekend away! Excellent communication by owners. Beautiful setup & decor, very clean and comfortable. We were so appreciative of the arrival goodies in the fridge. Kids loved this place & it felt like a home away from home. Great location and great view of the lake. Thankyou!

Lakes entrance stay

Grant's place is a lovely clean ground floor unit. We had a great stay there with our two kids, aged 2 and 4. There is huge fun playground at the end of the street, and lots of picnic areas with a view on the inlet. It's also a 2-3 minute walk to the centre of town so its super easy to eat out. The unit was really well appointed with everything we needed and there was even a bottle of wine and some snacks waiting for us on arrival.

Weekend in Lakes Entrance.

Had a wonderful long weekend at Lakes Entrance. The accommodation was truly lovely, had everything that we needed, and was very clean. A nice welcome pack of essentials included. Grant was a wonderful host and we would highly recommend staying here.

Winter Getaway

We were met by Grant who was a warm and welcoming host. Well-appointed and comfortable apartment underneath hosts own house. Nice little touches including wine, chocolates and condiments. Located on Marine Pde with some road noise however still had a restful and pleasant stay. Nice view across park and north arm opposite.
