The place was very well organized, clean and decorated nicely for Thanksgiving. The view from the porch was stunning. We would definitely return back to this place for vacation.

The mountain view from the deck was incredible, truly one of the best in the area. Conveniently located for exploring the area, with easy access to hiking, waterfalls, local markets, and restaurants. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and escape to nature. We loved the game room with the pool table, air hockey, and foosball, to name a few. Lot’s to do if you have youngsters. We would stay here again without hesitation – a truly incredible experience. Highly recommend staying here. Best host to date!

Great View!

We enjoyed our stay from start to finish! The kids loved the game room and the hot tub was nice even in July! The couple was very quick to provide all check in information and also sent a great little newsletter to let us know about things to do and places to go in the area. We hiked Tallulah Gorge and it was a great experience with beautiful views too! Plenty of space for a family of 6.

Lovely weekend getaway

A rustic setting but a modern and beautiful home with all the comforts. The next time I stay there I will request that the hot tub be preheated as it was not hot enough to use until the morning we left.

Wonderful place to stay

House was very nice and allowed us a central place for all the things we wanted to do. Owners were super nice and willing to help with anything we needed. The game room downstairs was fun but could probably use a refresh (hard to play pool when the table isn't level anymore 😀). But the kids loved all of it. If we are in the area again this will be the place we want to stay.

Fall Foliage 2022

Boy! Did we luck out!!! This was an awesome rental--location, view, accommodations, hostess, etc., etc! The leaf colors were spectacular all around the cabin. Highly recommend!!!!!

Fantastic Property in the mountains

We had a great April vacation visting Lakemont and staying at this house. It came with everything one needs for a nice stay close to Clayton and Lake Rabun. We loved the view from the living room and deck. I got up early just to see the changes as the sun rose in the morning. Sunset was just as nice. The house was super comfortable for our stay. Very nice beds, linens and towesl. We loved using the games in the basement which resulted in some fierce Air-hockey and darts games. The lower outside area was just as nice as upstaris. One night is was colder and we had a nice fire in the outdoor fireplace. The hot-tub was a great feature to have especially after a day of hiking the local trails to the waterfalls. Cannot say enough about this rental. The welcome document was packed with useful information that helped us in our exploration of the area. Though Ingles is close by, my suggestion is to stock up because once you get to the house, you'll not want to leave to go out shopping again. Instead, you'll want to kick back and relax and enjoy the view.

Perfect!

The house was perfect for us! The house was clean, beds were comfy, kitchen was stocked, gameroom was a hit with the kids, and the weather was perfect for hiking. I got up early every morning to have coffee on the back deck and got lucky to see some deer grazing in the back yard. The weather was surprisingly cool at night so we sat by the fire one night and played games. (Firewood was included!) The outside furniture was comfortable and accommodating. Leo and Lorraine were amazing hosts. I probably text them too much but they had so much useful information about the area. That was very nice of them. 2 things to note:1. We wanted to cook a big meal and needed some bigger pots…I text them about it and when we returned from our hike new pots were delivered to the front door. 5⭐️2. The pool sticks were broken when we arrived and you guessed it, new sticks were delivered to the house. 5⭐️

Our family had a wonderful stay at this mountain top Lakemont retreat. All of the kids, young and old, enjoyed the game room downstairs and we found everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The home was very clean, well furnished and beautiful decorated. The electric car charger was an added bonus for our family as well! We would definitely stay again.

Our stay in this beautiful home away from home was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The was spotless and very welcoming. We loved sipping our morning coffee on the deck while soaking in the majestic view.The hosts thought if verything to make sure we felt at home. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and the game room downstairs was so much fun!The location was perfect! It was peaceful and private, yet close to everything we wanted to do and see.I highly recommend this "home away from home" to anyone who wants the perfect getaway!We will be back!!

Great southern mountain getaway

Beautiful chalet in the mountains with plenty of space and things to do for kids. Although other properties on the street we felt completely isolated. Fantastic view of the mountains from the back porch. Clayton downtown has some nice restaurants and there are tons of outdoorsy things to do nearby. This house has my recommendation for anyone looking for a getaway in northern Georgia. I will be staying again.

Lakemont Treasure

My wife and I brought the grandkids to the mountains to kick off summer break. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. This is one of the cleanest and well appointed places we have ever stayed. The views are fantastic and the deck was the perfect place for that morning coffee. The game room provided tons of fun for all of us. Leo & Lorraine were fantastic hosts. I want to thank them again for helping provide the grandkids some great stories to tell. We will definitely be back again.

Everything we could’ve asked for

Had wonderful stay with 7 boys. Game room is a major asset. It kept boys occupied for hours.Kitchen and bathroom are well stocked and clean- so is the entire house.Candy and bottle of wine are nice touch.Host responded quickly for any questions. Great views of mountains from living room and both bedrooms.couldn’t be happier with out choice. Love to come back in fall.
