Our Happy Place

Our family loves coming to Lake Waccamaw. We have stayed at this property for the past 7 years. The owners are so nice, responsive if you need anything, and keep the property in tip-top shape. The dock is a wonderful place to sit and watch the sunsets, hang out while the kids play in the water, or just to chill. This is our happy place!

A perfect place for our family reunion/wedding...loved the pool room and the amazingly inviting balcony overlooking the Lake. Not much you can do about the stairs I guess...pretty hazardous potentially. And we were wishing for screens in the windows so we could let that fresh air in.

Our Happy Place

This lake house is our happy place! It is great for family’s. The front porch overlooking the lake is so relaxing. The covered dock is perfect for watching the kiddos while they swim and so nice in the evening to watch the beautiful sunsets. Ms. Sharon and Mr. Ron are the nicest people! They want your stay to be everything you expect it to be. We’ve been staying here every summer for 6 years and it is a slice of heaven!

Wonderful time!

Ron and Sharon, the hosts, are spectacular and really helpful! Location is wonderful and beautiful sunsets to enjoy. The kids enjoyed the state park, kayaking, biking and disc golf nearby. House was big enough to host thanksgiving with family and we really enjoyed our time!

Wonderful property and hosts!!

We were so impressed with the clean, beautiful house equipped with every cooking gadget you could wish, plus the hosts provided Keurig coffee pods, creamer and sweetener, detergents and paper products enough for the week. Gorgeous views of the lake and peaceful neighborhood. But if you are a fisherman or boater, be aware that the lake itself is very shallow so that when wind kicks up it becomes pretty rough/choppy which actually makes for great tubing. And we lucked out with several calm water days perfect for skiing, too. Our boat would not crank one day and Ron, the owner, very kindly took his time to lend us his battery charger and reserve fuel tanks (which we insisted on paying him for), and he assisted my husband with diagnosing the issue and getting it started again. So kind of him Overall! Overall, fantastic stay! Thank you, thank you to our truly super hosts!!!

A little slice of heaven!

This is our favorite vacation of the year! The kids love swimming, tubing, kayaking, playing in the lake. The dock is the perfect place to relax and watch the sunset. Ms. Sharon and Mr. Ron are the BEST hosts. We’ve already booked again for next year. This place is a little slice of heaven!

Already looking forward to next stay

We have stayed at this property for several years now and have already booked next year. The entire family looks for to this vacation. The grandchildren rank it above Disney World. Ron and Sharon are great hosts and the views of the lake are memorable. Great vacation.

OOOH, what a vacation!!!

First and foremost, Sharon and Ronald are the best!! I was upset that we had to leave. My grandkids enjoyed the lake and the trampoline.
