It’s a pity that we only stayed one night. We didn’t use all the facilities available to us. Good quiet location and on a clear night, we might have been able to see the milky way from the back of the property. Only downside was that there was no laundry facilities available for the apartment. That’s not really a major point as we normally hand wash with a Scrubba bag anyway.

Our stay at the Mackenzie Suites was very nice. Our host was amazing, very freindly. Even as we had the smalles apartment (as she apologized for) it was really comfy and spacious. It was very clean with a good view of Lake Tekapo. The suites are a litle outside. If you don´t want to use the car it will be 15-20 minutes by foot until you reach the centre.

Excellent place to stay, easy walk into town. Exactly what we needed and was a great welcome when we arrived. The bath and kitchen etc are all modern and was private too. The only negative I would say is some of the decor which made me feel like I was staying at my Nanas… e.g. the doilies :) I must get me some of the wood ring cushions!! Otherwise exceptional and will definitely be staying again. Thanks team!

日本からの旅行者です。クライストチャーチ付近に１泊した後、こちらの施設にはレンタカーで訪問して、２泊しました。チェックインの際に丁寧な説明があり、歓迎していただきました。部屋からの景色はこの上なく素晴らしく、部屋の中の設備も感動するレベルでした。可愛らしい犬がいたことも、犬好きの私達にとっては嬉しかったです。近くのスーパーやレストランも徒歩圏内で、朝食は自炊しましたが、キッチンも最高に使いやすかったです。私の不注意でグラスを１つ割ってしまったので謝りに行ったのですが、「問題ないよ、もう１つ追加しなくて大丈夫？」と聞いてくれて、嬉しかったです。 またいつかテカポに行くことがあったら、必ずこちらに泊まりたいと思う、記憶に強く残る場所でした。初めてのニュージーランド旅行の日本人の方にも強くお勧めできます。

What a lovely little find! The property exceeded our expectations with a lovely big bath and also an awesome fireplace which connected the living room and the bedroom so was great in the cold nights. The property was close to the shops and the thermal baths and the kitchen was great. Ivan was very friendly on greeting us and we had a lovely stay.

Beautiful with everything and I mean everything you would want. Beautiful location spectacular view. Special extras like heated floors in the bathroom, slippers and bathrobes. Host is most helpful. Wished I stayed longer one night was not enough.

Really clean and well-equipped accommodation. The high-tech fire place was a really nice touch. Location was close (less than 5 mins drive) to downtown eateries and Church of Good Shepherd. Host was really friendly too!

조용하고 깨끗하고 아늑한 숙소였습니다. 바로 앞에 테카포호수가 보이고, 밤에는 별도 잘 보여서 멀리 나가지 않고도 은하수를 볼 수 있었어요. 1박만 한 게 아쉬운 숙소였습니다.

We spent two nights at the property as part of our week long honeymoon trip to NZ. This property was recommended by a local expert and boy, did we make the right choice! The bedroom apartment was very cozy with a spectacular view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. It was truly jaw dropping when our kind host showed us around the rooms for our check-in. The staff were incredibly responsive and fast in answering any questions before our pre-arrival experience. The location was dark enough for us to enjoy the stars and see the Milky Way from the wood deck. A truly magical experience. Thank you so much!

Such a beautiful apartment with stunning views. So comfortable and spotlessly clean also.loved the fact it had own laundry & this was well used too. The drier had a malfunction but We were offered the use of the main drier instead. I’d happily stay there again as it was just fantastic!

This Suite was perfect, from the little treats supplied, the personalised welcome introduction, ipad personal message. The view was uninhibited with the lake so calm, surroundings were open and quiet. The unit was new, fresh, modern, everything a traveller desires. The bedroom with its wall surroundings felt as if you were in the middle of a field in the McKenzie district. Nothing can be done to improve this experience. Even our new friends came to visit (ducks). A thank you for our enjoyable experience. Regards

This was a gorgeous property with a fantastic view of the Lake and Mountains. We would loved to have stayed longer just for the accomodation. The hosts met us onsite and gave us a thorough run down on ammenities, local restaurants and other tips. We would highly recommend Lake Tekapo as a stop and definitely the MacKenzie Suites.

테카포의 설경을 방안에서 누릴 수 있는 최적의 숙소. 숙소내 시설은 5성급 호텔보다 나은. 비품들이 최고급. 거실과 방의 히터가 따로. 전기담요까지 있어 더울 정도로 따뜻. 거실에 세탁기와 건조기까지 구비되어 있어 빨래를 할 수 있는 점이 가장 좋았다. 다음에도 2-3일 묵을 예정이다.

Highly recommended. Great views overlooking Lake Tekapo. Comfortable and warm with double fire. Beds sheets pillows high quality. I enjoyed the huge bath with salts. Ivan and his manager are very accommodating. We always return here. Thank you.
