We had a great six day stay at this rental. Three couples in our 50’s and 60’s. We did lots of biking and hiking in the area. Food at the local restaurants was very good. We misread the listing and thought that there was three levels when there were only two, but that didn't create an issue. The main level was very comfortable with a large kitchen that multiple people could work in. We wished there were a deck off the main level; the only outside space was a patio in the backyard. The large two garage was used to store our bikes when we weren't out riding them. We had a little excitement one morning when three bears came through the neighborhood exploring. The large self contained “apartment” on the bottom floor was nice, but we didn't take too much advantage of it except to utilize the second washer and dryer. The owner was very responsive and we felt well taken care of.

A beautiful house and vacation!

We were here for a family reunion and our group of 8 enjoyed all the amenities of this property. We had some difficulties finding sheets for the pull out bed, finding beach towels and the code for the garage, but Eric was good at communicating with us the next morning to help solve the problems. We appreciated the help. A wonderful stay!!

We rented Eric's house to be close to a King's Beach wedding at the North Tahoe Event Center. The location was perfect as we could walk to/from the event. It's also an easy walk to the beach and many restaurants. The house was great for us as we had 6 adults and one 6 month old. The lower floor worked so well for the napping baby, while the other 4 adults were in the upper floor. The kitchen was very well stocked, we had everything we needed. Lots of windows to open and let fresh, cool air in the house.We did have issues with very spotty wifi. Most the time it was not working. This should be in the listing so those that have to work can make other arraignments. Two of the beds were, well...interesting. The upstairs guest bed had a large dip in middle. Upon further investigation the day we left, the frame was broken and was being supported by 2 rocks. The lower bed frame was not stable, the box spring went through the frame and we had to pull the frame out and set it on the box spring. Master bed very, very comfy. We would definitely stay here again if the beds were improved upon. Thank you!

5 stars across the board. Amazing location in North Lake Tahoe that is close to everything, yet far enough away to make it feel like a mountain getaway. Could not have been happier about the home, location, communication with the owner, and anything else critical you can think of (which I did not have to). Highly recommend!

great for groups and close to the beach

The house was very nice and just as pictured. It was great having 3 bedrooms and 3 separate bathrooms for our 3 couples. King's beach was very crowded so being able to walk there from the house was key. Eric was very responsive. I'd stay there again!

Exceptional stay for all families, multigenerational etc

Our stay in early August (2024) for five days was absolutely lovely, and our family of 7, including 2 school-age kids, an infant, and 2 grandparents in tow really enjoyed our time at the property. I thought the home looked even better in person than in the pictures. Having a downstairs that was a self-contained unit within itself (e.g. had a kitchen, bath, washer/dryer, and bedroom) was really clutch as it saved my older parents from having to go up and down the stairs. My kiddos loved the foosball table, while we adults enjoyed the little backyard area to drink tea in the morning. Our baby is not fully mobile yet so the stairs were not an issue, but if you do have a baby that's crawling, walking, etc. it may be worth getting a baby gate or just keeping a watchful eye. The location near King's Beach, within walking distance, is ideal. I really appreciated the communication with the host, who was always accessible. Can't wait to go back!!

Guys golf getaway

We went on a guys golf trip for the weekend. Property was within walking distance to the grocery store, beach/shopping, and the golf course. The property was clean and well suited to the group. Great trip and property.

Perfect Location

The house was beautiful and the ideal location. We were a half mile walk from Kings Beach and several local restaurants. Kitchen had everything you might possibly need. Neighborhood had a comfortable, laid back feel. Weather was perfect. It was the last week of July and air conditioning in the house was definitely not needed. Short drive to Tahoe City and Truckee, which were fun to wander around the shops. Eric was great and quick to respond to all questions and suggestions about things to do. Would definitely stay here again, if I get the chance.

Mini Snow-cation

2 Families stayed and we had a great time. The kitchen and rooms are fully equipped to make our needs met. Beautiful home, lots of space, cleanliness, and great communication with the owner. Spacious backyard for the kiddos to play in the snow, close proximity to shops and lake. We definitely would love to come back again for the summer!

What a great place to lay your head at night!

We were in Tahoe for a wedding and didn’t spend a ton of time at the house. But when we did it was very comfortable and had many little extras. Games for kids. Two kitchens 3 bathrooms. Plenty of beds, and the kitchens had plenty of gismos and gadgets to make anything with ease. It’s a nicely located home!
