House was lovely. Vacasa Mgmt Company does not have the house cleaned properly. Dirty dishes, debris in bedsheets, hair in tub, dried food on knives. When I requested they come and clean it properly, they refused. I feel bad for the owners... they are not getting the service they are paying for... and the tenants are getting a super cute house with unvacuumed carpets, unclean bedding and dirty dishes. So sad. (I've never left a bad review before, but I just couldn't ignore the terrible service from Vacasa.

Good but not great

While the house was fine, there were some quirky things that are bringing my rating down. There were not any directions for the fireplace so we had to call for assistance. Pilot light was out, so host lit it. However, still no directions and so we could never turn it off. Also, you could not use the recliners on the couch. Prior to check in, I received 2 different codes for the front door. I used the first one and it worked… until 3 nights into our stay. We returned from being out and upon our return (when it was dark and cold) the original code didn’t work but the second one did. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with gadgets but you’ll need to bring your own extra towels. The only pantry items that were there were salt and pepper.

Great place to stay just outside of south lake tahoe hub

This was a nice property located in a quiet neighborhood just off the beaten path, very easy to get to Heavenly, Casinos and many local restaurants. Place was also very clean.

Tahoe September

Didn’t like that I had to go to an office to get my code and sign forms to check in The location was good. The neighborhood was quiet. The home was spacious, and we got to see a bear. and the TV which the last night we tried to use and could not get the volume turned down and I called but no one was able to assist so instructions on the TV need to be specified that would be very helpful

Never stay here

This experience was terrible.this property has 4 power recliners and not 1 of them worked because it was not plugged in.when i told the front desk they said look under the sectional and i looked under each piece and no cord was there except the cord that is attached to each section of the couch witch has not outlet plug to go in the wall.all i found was dirt,candy wrappers,potato chips,peanuts and other stuff,which attracted something because i had several bug bites.when I tried calling the front desk to explain what I found they refused to call me back and I even left text messages and all I got back was "it's there under the couch". No one would help me at all or even at least return my calls or text. Buy the way this all happened within 10 minutes of check in time.also there is no curtin or blinds on the large main window that covers the interior of the living room.there we're many other things wrong with this property but to much to list.the only thing good was whoever decorated this place deserves an A+.very beautiful.to bad about the rest of it.

Great Getaway!

We had a great time for a girls weekend. Plenty of seating for games and meals. One room has a triple bunk bed, so just be sure you are aware of that if you're planning a trip for adults. Parking was a little tricky due to ice, but all in all a great stay with beautiful forest views.

Family trip to Lazy Bear Retreat

Cute and roomy property for our family. Very hot water and heater worked well. Loved the fireplace indoor and out (fire pit was nice with comfy seating). Place is not baby proofed, but our little toddler roamed around without issues. Property managers were helpful and helped troubleshoot in a timely manner. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

A new family favorite!

Our stay at this lovely Tahoe Paradise was super comfortable. My husband, his parents and our nine year old son enjoyed a laid back, relaxing week in Tahoe at this VRBO. It was spacious, clean and well stocked with all the essentials we needed. We will definitely choose this location to stay at in our future trips to Tahoe.

Perfect cozy home!

We booked this home for a relaxing moms weekend and it was perfect! The house was extremely clean, cozy and had everything we needed to truly relax and enjoy our weekend. There was plenty of space for everyone and the back deck was our favorite spot to unwind. I highly recommend!

Quite place with plenty of amenities.

Nicely located in a quite neighborhood. The place had nice decks connected to the living room and a bedroom as well. It also had a Wii unit we used a lot, wish it was listed in the description (could have brought the games).

Wonderful Tahoe Property

This was actually our second choice when looking for a vacation property, but the other didn't have our dates. Well to our wonderful surprise, this is now our first choice for property. It is clean, nice neighborhood, updated, fully stocked with anything you would need. The fire pit on the deck was so nice on a cool summer evening and the new couch is very comfortable and several naps were taken on it during the week! 2 other items that I don't consider a reason to change the good rating - the master bedroom bed is VERY high. I learned a not very graceful way of getting on the bed, and once on it, it was very comfortable The other is the shower in the master bedroom is very weak. I get the reason as I also live in CA and know water conservation, but it took awhile to rinse out my hair. The only thing that I put a 4 instead of a 5 is that I don't like having to drive somewhere to check in, but it was pretty close by. I will look forward in the future to renting this property again. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property!

Great cabin, great location

Easy access to all fun activities in South Tahoe. Cozy cabin with cute bear theme. Full kitchen, lots of beds. Only thing that kept it from being a 5 was that the indoor fireplace did not work.

Fall Color Getaway

We rented this house because of its location away from the bustle of South Lake Tahoe nearer the lake. We enjoyed being able to easily get to the magnificent fall color in Hope Valley. The house is spacious & quiet. With the arrival of cooler weather it was lovely to have the gas fireplace in the evening. Internet worked well. Master bath has been nicely updated.
