Perfect New Year's Stay!

This vacation home was perfect for our group of two adults and four teens! The house was spacious, nicely appointed, and close to amenities. The kitchen and bathrooms were nice looking and clean, and the beds were all comfortable. The view of the meadow at the back of the house was quite lovely! I imagine that it would be beautiful in the summertime as well.Our only concern was that the hot water ran out pretty quickly and took longer than usual to heat up. If you like your showers long and hot, this might be a problem for you. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to this property.

Clean, stocked, warm, beautiful home

What a great place for our first family snow trip! Comfortably accommodated all six of us (adult-sized)! Things we loved:-well-stocked kitchen (garlic press, nutribullet, Instant pot,plenty spices, even flour & sugar)-Enclosed garage filled with snow toys! -central heating worked beautifully-so close to Tahoe Donner Ski area!! Great beginner spot!—Excellent communication with property managerThings to be aware of (though will not deter us from renting here again):-Fireplace did not work properly (we’ve lived in homes with fireplaces/wood-burning stoves, and it seemed like it needed a thorough cleaning (manager was helpful in offering solutions, however we had already tried everything he suggested, and the house became very smoky- uncomfortably so- we were bummed to not have a cozy fire to sit by, but again, not a dealbreaker, and the heater was great. - Dull kitchen knives (we finally found the knife sharpener-hidden inside one of the slots in the knife block, so hopefully next guests won’t have this issue)- It would be wonderful if the house came with a garage door opener (though I could see the potential nightmare of having to replace lost fobs)- somewhat limited hot water. We were thrilled to enjoy a soak in the beautiful bathtub, but before it filled, someone in another bathroom started showering, and the tub did not fill halfway up before the hot water ran out. The dishwasher may have also been running. Beautiful home! Planning our next trip already!!

Updated House in Truckee

We stay often at homes in this HOA around Truckee Donner. This house I would rent again, It was Clean and modern compared to other rentals in the area.

Awesome!

Loved this cabin in the woods. Great location, great amenities (we went to the pool twice and Donner Lake once), and just a short drive to lots of fun places to eat and walk around in downtown Truckee. The only thing we would suggest to add, would be some fans for the primary bedroom, as the windows don't open and it got really stuffy and hot up there (we didn't want to open the door to the balcony because of mosquitos).

Family week in Tahoe Donner

We had a wonderful summer week in Tahoe Donner. The house was in a great location and we enjoyed all of the amenities offered in Tahoe Donner. The beds were comfortable and the home well appointed with a peaceful back porch to drink coffee on in the morning. We would love to come back!

Loved This House

This house was perfect for our family to stay in for a ski trip. The house was stocked with everything. There was shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in every shower, plus laundry detergent and dryer sheets in the laundry room. The bathtub in the picture is exactly what it looks like, surrounded by windows showing the land behind the house, in our case surrounded by snow. There's a keurig and a regular coffee machine. The house is big and there is plenty of space. Will definitely stay here again.

Outstanding Truckee Cabin/House!

This property was exactly as described. It was a beautiful house and the space inside was amazing for our crew. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was pretty well stocked with everything we needed. House was very clean and located in a nice neighborhood and the view and access to the meadows and view from backyard breathtaking! We will definitely rent this property again.

Sparkling clean!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was immaculate and beautifully updated, with fast wi-fi. The neighborhood is upscale and quiet. We enjoyed using the guest passes at the Snowplay area - and there are snowshoes at the house, too! I loved tromping around the wooded backyard. The views out back are amazing, you look out into a wide open space. It all felt private and secluded, even with houses on either side. Highly recommend!

Awesome mountain getaway!!

Great living space! Kitchen is very, VERY well equipped. Neighborhood is quaint and the distance to Truckee and Donner are more than ideal. We enjoyed the back deck with views of the meadow and pines. Had a couple minors issues but they were instantly addressed by the rental agency. Would definitely recommend!!

Summer 2019

The house was beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was amazing and had everything we needed. The only thing is that the dvd player is so outdated that we weren’t able to watch the movies we brought. Also, the property manager takes days to get back to you (our last question regarding the dvd player was never answered). But we still managed to have a great time.

We loved it!

We really like the house and the location (10 min from Safeway, 20 minutes to Boreal/Northstar). The house was very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, the dining room and living room are specious and comfy. The master bedroom is H-U-G-E and we ended up having all the kids coming over in the morning playing on the bed. We had so much snow during the weekend and we had lots of fun sledding the driveway 😊 Lockley after the storm, the snow was cleared from the driveway so we didn’t had to spend hours doing it ourselves. Another great point is the garage which can fit 2 SUV’s. I would hate to wake up in the morning and have to clear all the snow from my car. On the down side: - The grill area was covered in snow so we couldn’t use it (we used the kitchen instead), so if you must have a grill you should except that - We had some issue with the hot water running out. The property management try to help but seems like there was a new heater installed. However, they were very responsive and since we had to stay another night (as the roads were blocked) they very generously offer us to stay another night without extra charge I definitely recommend this property and would come back again.
