Well worth the money

This house was better than the pictures showed. The master bedroom was immaculate. It was about a 10 minute drive to tons of cool destinations for kids. There is even a trail you can walk in the neighborhood that makes you feel like you’re in a forest. We got personal text updates and check-ins from a real person. For the price, this is the place to stay at South Lake.

Great Property for Families

We had a wonderful stay at the Sugar Pine Lodge. House is nicely stocked and well appointed. Highly recommend for families traveling to the South Lake Tahoe Area. Neighborhood is quiet and nice.

Fantastic cabin for a group

Plenty of space to spread out, a very quiet location, well-stocked kitchen, towels, and private hot tub. A great spot to come home to after a day on the slopes. Love the gigantic couch that fit all 6 adults with plenty of room. We hope to return soon!

Beautiful home in South Lake!

Our family vacationed with another family of four and had the most wonderful stay in South Lake Tahoe! The home was perfect for us - well stocked, roomy, comfortable, and close to a forested area where we were able to take advantage of the snow and go sledding. We really enjoyed our time and would love to return!

Wonderful home in a good location

Home came stocked with all amenities and was clean on arrival. Spacious backyard for the kids to run around and a nice hot tub to relax in. Our family had a great time staying at this property. Tip: This property is also listed on the renters website for the same price minus the "VBRO FEE".

Was centrally located close to all our needs. Beautiful area and neighborhood. The bear decided to take a peek inside our vehicle. But we had nothining inside for him! Kid friendly property. Has basic necessities! Would definitely book again!!

Great tahoe retreat!

We really enjoyed this rental property. It hosted our family of 7 very well. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. There is a gorgeous walking/biking trail at the end of minniconjou street. I highly recommend checking this out. The bikes were a nice surprise although a couple of them need repairs. We loved the deck with the BBQ and the downstairs hot tub. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, coffee pot, slow cooker, blender, etc. The downstairs couch bed may be past its prime. I would not recommend counting on that as a bed. The only other thing I would change is to make the backyard more functional. Maybe some grass or something. The weeds made that area unusable. That was just one small downfall though. This is an amazing house and I highly recommend it!

Good but not 5 star

Nice house, clean, great neighborhood. The furnace short cycled through our entire visit despite talking to the management company on day two asking for repairs. The TV remote was in disrepair which made looking for programs near impossible.

Great Stay

We booked this property with two families with 4 kids in total. Overall, great stay. Nice neighborhood and quiet. Was about a 10-15 minute drive to heavenly ski resort and about 10-15 minutes to restaurants/services in South lake tahoe. The property is clean and has ample space. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable. The check in process was easy. The kitchen is well stocked. I would rent this property again.

Terrific ski house

Rental process was a breeze. House is large, comfortable and well-appointed. Everything was clean, and exactly as described. It’s 10 mins from the California lodge at Heavenly Valley Ski Area. Plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Would rent again in a heartbeat.
