Wonderful stay, the house is charming, well stocked with anything one may need, and spacious. The hot tub was amazing after skiing. The host left great instructions, everything was well organized so we really enjoyed every moment of our vacation.

A big snowstorm hit two days before our arrival, and everything was perfect. No issues at all getting in or out. The home stayed comfortable the entire time, and the hot tub was spot on. We didn’t end up using the wood-burning stove, but it was a nice option to have. The kitchen was a dream and fully set up for everything we needed. The host was attentive and easy to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect Tahoe home with private beach access

Very well kept home with large updated kitchen and 4 full bathrooms! Loved having two huge ensuite bedrooms upstairs as well as the third large ensuite on the main level. Area was very nice and close to meadow to walk dogs or bike. Salt water jacuzzi was perfect to hang out at night. Would definitely stay here again.

This cabin was very nice, comfortable and homey-feeling. There were 9 of us (6 adults & 3 teens) and it was a perfect fit. The owner (Curtis) happened to be there when we arrived, so he showed us where the keys were and helped us through the electric fence detail, though it was very simple.He has taken the time to be sure everything one might want is there. There were a couple questions that we texted him with and he was quick to respond. The cabin was very easy to find, as we had started staying in Tahoe Park area since 1986, right down the street from this cabin. He has electrical fence to help with bear intrusions and we had no problem with bears. We did have my granddog Liberty, a Golden Retriever and she had a lot of fun. There are 2 sets of stairs that could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues, so be aware. We had no problems, but since I am in my mid-70's, I wondered about how I would navigate in another 5 years. There is one en suite queen bedroom downstairs, plus a futon single bed in LR as well as another full bathroom. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with en suite and king beds. One upstairs bedroom also has bunk beds. It was warm in Tahoe this past week, and he has a table fan in each bedroom and living room. Additional fan for bunk bed area would be nice. Nice showers with plenty of hot water. TV's in each bedroom and a huge one in LR. WiFi was great! We felt the rental amount was reasonable and would definitely return in the future.

Great house

This house is a 5 star place to stay. The kitchen is amazing; it’s equipped with everything you could need plus more. Three big bedrooms all with on suite bathrooms. Plus another full bathroom. Entire house was very clean. Lots of off street parking. Great location. Close to town and ski areas.The owner was very responsive to our questions. We cannot say enough good things about this house.

Wonderful Neighborhood

Our stay over the 4th of July was great! The location is perfect on the West Shore, and the neighborhood is quiet with lovely neighbors. The house has a bathroom in each bedroom. It worked well for our family and we would stay again. The house only has two towels per bathroom so it made it tricky for a 6 day stay for-more than two people per bedroom. Also, it does not have a garage that is available for guests so we had to bring in our chairs and boards and cooler up the stairs everyday and there was not really any room for those things in the house.

Perfect cabin in the Talmont mountains

Love this place! Three large master bedrooms with en suite bathrooms for each, really nice touch. Well appointed kitchen with large windows letting in natural light. Cozy living room with large screen TV and DVDs. This time of year, don't forget mosquito repellant and allergy meds (a lot of pollen around the area).

Beautiful home in a beautiful place

We had 5 adults and a dog very comfortably housed over memorial day weekend. With 3 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, we had plenty of space. We loved the jacuzzi. The neighborhood was very quiet and had easy access to some moderate hiking trails. The kitchen was very well-stocked with amenities. We really had no complaints and would certainly stay again! Note for dog owners that the yard is not fenced.

Great Long Weekend Ski Trip

We booked Curtis’ property for a recent trip with friends to ski Palisades Tahoe. The location was great, only about 15 minutes or so to the mountain from the house. All of the instructions and documentation Curtis provided in his communications both via email and at the hose were concise and easy to follow. Check in process was very easy and straight forward. The cabin was very clean and well stocked from soap and shampoo to coffee and kitchenware. The beds were also very comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for a rustic escape. In the evenings we were just a quick 5-10 minute ride to Main Street and many restaurants but there was also a market nearby and we could have easily prepared meals at the house with all that was provided. Overall a great experience and a great location for a ski getaway!

Wonderful Winter Getaway!

Large bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, and a well stocked kitchen. Convenient location close to restaurants and shops in Tahoe City. Pets are allowed, so everything we could ask for in a Tahoe winter retreat!

If I could give it 6 stars I would

This house was phenomenal for our Tahoe ski vacation with friends. The house was extremely clean, stocked very well, bathroom in each room and king sized beds. Extra bonus that it’s dog friendly. The hot tub was great after a day of skiing. We were almost snowed in and the owner was very responsive and flexible with the situation.

Awesome house and location

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay. No problems with check-in, clean upon arrival and great communication with our host. The house had everything we needed and the location was great! Just a ten minute walk from Paige Meadows and a 45 min drive to Sugarbowl. We would definitely stay here again.

My family and I stayed here in Sept 2023 and we really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our size family, loved the fact that all 3 bedrooms had all their own private bathrooms. Bonus that the owner excepts dogs, thank you for that. We will for sure go back and visit. The communication with the owner was awesome, thanks again!
