Great house to stay in with friends

Overall the house was very nice and clean. The rooms were much larger than they looked in the photos. We were also surprised by the number of amenities inside the house, especially in the kitchen. It had a nice espresso machine and plenty of pots and pans to cook full meals.

Great Tahoe Donner house

We had a great stay at this property! The house was heated upon arrival, which was very welcoming. Renters need to immediately turn up hot water heat to get the warm water flowing. The house was spacious and clean, beds were comfy, and showers (water pressure) were great. Kitchen was well stocked with quality cookware. Bonus was high garage doors so we could park our SUV with cargo box inside for the night. Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing & Comfy

Great house with lots of added details. Love how super organized this house is (zero clutter in any drawer) and it has all the kitchen essentials. I really like the added touches like wireless phone chargers by the bedsides and Alexa enabled devices. The house is very comfortable and in a quiet part of TD that’s nice to walk the hood with the dogs. Owner is very responsive as well. We would stay here again for sure!

Comfortable home

We had a wonderful stay in Truckee in this comfortable, well appointed, and organized home. It was close to a great hiking trail for the dogs, as well as all the amenities of Tahoe Donner and Truckee. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment for people who like to cook. We’d definitely choose to stay here again!

Wonderful Fully-Stocked Tahoe Donner Home

We had a fantastic time at Anne's house. We were two families each with one 5-year old boy plus our dog, and this spacious house was perfect for us. I have never rented a house before with so many great amenities. From the tech features (multiple Apple TVs, Nest thermostat) to the kitchen appliances (espresso machine, Soda Stream) to the kids toys (tons of boys and girls toys and snow toys for the kids to play with) it was even better than we expected. Anne did a great job communicating and even checked on us via email after we arrived to make sure we had figured out how to turn on the hot water heater (it's in a small room in the garage) which was incredibly helpful since we had missed reading the instructions and were wondering why the water was so cold. When the internet went out one afternoon (apparently for the whole area unbeknownst to us and not a problem isolated to the house) and we asked Anne, her husband was so communicative to keep us informed. They seem to take great pride in making sure everyone has a perfect stay. Anne and her family take great care of the house, and it was fully stocked for us to cook some great meals. The instructions to turn on the tv and all the accompanying devices were lengthy but easy to follow - much appreciated! Everything was very clean and organized. It was a fantastic stay! The only small critiques we had (which were not a big deal at all so we didn't ask for help) were that we couldn't find soap and shampoo even though I think some might have been provided somewhere, but we had brought our own. Also, we usually use small wash clothes in the bathroom but those weren't provided - not a big deal. We also didn't figure out how to close the garage doors without going back into the house and exiting the front door. Perhaps there was a code for the garage door keypads but we didn't figure it out. Overall, I would highly recommend this home and would love to stay there again. Thank you, Anne!

Best Tahoe-Donner home!!!

This was our second time staying at Anne’s beautiful home during the winter season. The house is well equipped with everything you can think of. The beds are comfy and the bedrooms are the perfect size for accommodating multiple families. This house is indeed a SMART house with Apple TV and Alexa to help with questions. Best of all we get to bring our fur baby. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Anne for allowing us to stay in your home. We appreciate it!!!

This house provided more than ample our party of 7. The bedding was comfortable and the living space was big enough for everyone to stretch out. The owner was helpful and quick to respond to my inquiries. I would book this place again in the future.

Wonderfully maintained home!

Our family had a lovely, long weekend at this home. It feels like it was recently remodeled and is in great shape. It was pretty and comfortable and had more than everything we needed (except any bath toiletries, BRING YOUR OWN, soap, shampoo, etc...I read this in another review tho so we were prepared, we generally bring our own anyway). But having rented many other homes on VRBO/AIRBNB I have to say this one was the best taken care of and stocked of any we have been to. It feels like they really take care to make sure everything you need is there, especially in the kitchen. Right down to the spice and herb collection! On top of this Alexa is there to help you with the TV, fan and other amenities. The owners were very kind, responsive and available when we had questions. We have a 5yr old who loves sledding and snow play and with the enormous amount of snow in Tahoe this year we never had to leave the house to play elsewhere. We found great sledding hills (small ones) right around the house and plenty of sleds in the garage. Lovely open spaces and woods around the house made for great exploring and we built snowmen (and Unicorns, a snow fort, etc..) There were even toys in the kids room, WII and video games available! My daughter did not want to leave!! I highly recommend this place.

Lovely Home

Despite tons of snow, we still had a very nice stay. There is plenty of technology to deal with, difficult for seniors, but we were ultimately successful. However, remember to bring your streaming passwords since there is no cable. There was a shortage of shampoo and body wash, which was supposed to be supplied. However, we went to store to purchase so was ok. First night we had no hot water, but our fault not homeowners. Please remember to read all of the information provided to you, which we didn't complete successfully. Home is beautiful and very clean and spacious. Homeowner is a lovely woman who is quite easy to work with. I would stay there again, and recommend it for others.

wonderful cabin

Our family had a great stay at this cabin. It was really clean and tidy. Everything you would expect was provided. Nice firm mattresses, good linens, and well stocked kitchen. The cabin was just like the pictures. Anne, the owner provided all the information needed for us to have a great stay at her place. We will definitely stay here again.

This beautiful house exceeded our expectations!

We had a wonderful time staying at this home. The owners have it well stocked with everything you could want - even an espresso machine! The house was super clean, warm, and a great open floor plan to be with everyone in the house, whether cooking, watching TV, or sitting at the table. The house is in a great location; we took a number of walks around the neighborhood and it was an easy drive to the ski resorts. We would love to come back and stay here again.

A Great Getaway!

We were in town for a weekend to ski at Squaw. The beautiful home is spacious, well decorated, and perfect for groups. The mattresses were incredible - we didn't want to go home! We would definitely return in the near future.
