We loved this cabin. Quiet neighborhood in the woods. Walkable (1 mile?) to wonderful Chambers Landing pool and private beach which also has a grill. Great lay-out of the cabin for my 3 grown children and granddaughter. Comfortable mattresses with plenty of linens and beach towels, even small beach chairs included. A great, new and baby-proof deck for meals outside. Laurel was the most attentive owner we've encountered. The cabin has a few squeaky floors and older cabinets, but it has remodeled bathrooms, rugs, washer/dryer and large TVs. Great water pressure. The family room furniture was very comfortable. It was very clean. Plenty of supplies to get you by till you can shop at the Safeway about 5 miles up in Tahoe City. Thanks Laurel, we will rent there again.

Chambers cabin

Our family had a fantastic stay in this lovely cabin, the spacious deck was perfect for eating breakfast and dinners. Close enough to walk to chambers beach, bike trails, hiking trails!

Family Christmas getaway

We had family in town from the midwest. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property. There were 7 of us total and we had a 2 year old with us, familiar with stairs, so wasn't a problem. Plenty of room for all of us, even to get away from each other briefly. Rained all day the day after we arrived, so we hunkered inside and played games all day. Some, we provided, but there was a large variety on site. Host was very accommodating and easy to reach and communicate with. Walked the neighborhood and found some snow to use the provided sleds in and the beach is very near as well. Overall, we all enjoyed our brief stay!

Perfect location, Great Stay

We spent a few days recently with family friends and 4 teenagers. The house is a perfect mountain getaway, it is tucked away in a beautiful little neighborhood that is walking distance from the lake. We thoroughly made use of and enjoyed the beach club access and the large amazing deck off of the house! The house came fully equipped with all that we needed- including the appropriate tech that allowed us access to watch some of the Olympics. I would book this VRBO again, the host was so friendly and accommodating and you really can’t beat the location!

Great time, good location

We loved the location and access to chambers. The amenities were great and it was a spacious place. Laurel was very nice and communicative. Our only issue was the cleanliness; there was dog hair everywhere & dog odor on the bottom floor.

Snow getaway

We had a wonderful weekend in West shore. The weather was gorgeous and the kids had so much snow to play in without us worrying about the road conditions. Having Homewood three minutes away was such a nice convenience.

Fabulous shoulder season stay

This house was perfect for our stay. We visited with our dogs and were joined for two nights by our two daughters. A hiking trail was less than a block away, great for early morning walk with dogs, beach was a short walk, house was comfy without being fancy, and the huge front deck was a wonderful place to relax after a hectic day out and about. Internet was great and we both worked during our week without issues, participating in zoom calls etc. House is well stocked and everything works! Laurel was extremely responsive with instant replies to any questions we had. We would definitely book again.

Great Place

We had a lovely time! The weather was perfect, and of course Lake Tahoe was just gorgeous! The cabin was big enough for everyone and we really enjoyed sitting on the deck. It was also nice eating dinner on the deck too! Laurel was quick to answer any questions that we had. Can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful Winter Season

Laurel was extremely kind and attentive, she was able to help us with any issue we ran into. The home was super comfortable, the upstairs, where the living room is had a wonderful atmosphere with trees and snow all around us. Stayed at the property for 2 months and was very sad to leave. Would 10/10 recommend.

Super host

Laurel was a super host! She was so helpful and attentive in every ways possible. All our questions are properly responded right away. The house was as described and well equipped with everything! We had a very nice family Christmas up in Tahoe for the time. My family (8 adults) and two little Shih Tzu dogs was very comfortable with our stays. However, please take Laurel’s advice very seriously about the bear because my and my sons car got broken in. My husband must have forgotten to lock our car so does my 20 years old son with his truck (although they said they locked it but I doubted it). Thank god nothing is damaged, the bear just left a bunch of mess as they were looking for food I guess but got nothing. So don’t forget to be very cautious about the bears. But all in all we were very happy with our stay! Thank you Laurel and we will be back :)

Amazing place!
