Great location with ease of access to the town, the house was in excellent condition and very comfortable. I liked that there was an air conditioner in each room. Everything was very nice and communication was consistent.

My family and I had an incredible stay!! The house was so lovely and had everything we could have possibly needed! The house was very clean! Beds were very comfortable! So close to everything! It was a great location! Can’t say enough about the owners! Very responsive and attentive making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay! Highly recommend this house and looking forward to coming back and staying again!!

This property was wonderful and exactly as described. Mike and Marina checked in on us regularly via VRBO messaging to make sure all was going great and to make sure we had everything we needed. We felt very comfortable and at home at this vacation house and had a terrific family trip, staying here!

Perfect vacation home

A big reason I booked this LP home was because of the rave reviews. Everything everyone shared was true. Every day someone remarked how perfect the place was. We had 10 people and if your group is that size or smaller- you can’t beat it. I loved how it fit our budget and each time we went to Main Street I wondered if we could walk. Yeah… but no. Lol!! Thank you Mike W for being super flexible and offering to help ship or deliver a left behind game. Amazing stay here!!!!!!!

Great Location and Lovely Home!

We had a wonderful week in Lake Placid and this home was the perfect location. Close to town and restaurants and close to many attractions! We had a mixed group ranging from Senior Grandparents to Thirty-Somethings to Young grandchildren and there was something for everyone! This home was the perfect place to return after our adventures and relax! The host has thought of everything and left easy to follow directions for TV use (which can be challenging in many rentals, lol) The house was just as pictured. Very clean and the beds were very comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The host even provided towels for use with the hot tub! And the grandchildren enjoyed the pink pong table with their uncles and discovered the house is great for hide & seek! The only suggestion I would have for the host (and this is a very minor but easy thing to remedy) would be to add a set of over-the-door hooks to each bedroom and bathroom. Although the closets were very well stocked with hangers, it would be great to have hooks to hang towels and PJs! We would definitley recommend this house to anyone looking to explore the Lake Placid area!

The house was spotless at check in - location is great! Walked to town for dinner, shopping and bars. One minor issue with hot tub which was addressed immediately. The hosts were great! Would definitely book again!

A great getaway in Lake Placid

We had a fabulous stay at this property during our late-season ski trip. The home is immaculate and very large — great for families. The kids loved the basement with the games and video games. We all loved a good soak in the hot tub after a long day on the slopes. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, which was perfect for us. It is a bit of a walk to town but certainly doable. The kitchen is well-stocked and large enough for the entire family to gather to cook and eat together. The hosts are responsive and very focused in making sure everything was to our liking. I can’t say enough good things about this home! We will definitely be back.

Family trip

The house is very nice. Perfect location. Close to all attractions. The house was clean. The only downfall of the house is that it is not a stocked house. You have your basic needs pots, pans, dish soap, trash bags but no condiments. They leave you welcoming coffee but no sugar. There was nothing. I didn’t realize I needed to bring sugar ketchup mustard oil to cook with. The only spices were salt and pepper. I would not let this stop anyone from renting the house bc the house itself was great. Just letting people know you need to bring these things or purchase when you get there.

Weekend Getaway

We gifted our four daughters and their husbands a weekend getaway in Lake Placid. They just got home and loved the house, location and all the amenities. Couldn't thank us enough for such a "perfect" house. Mike and Marina were awesome hosts and couldn't do enough to make the whole rental experience easy, convenient and a pleasure. Highly recommended and already looking forward to the next time!

Beautiful and spotless

This place was everything we would hope . Easy to find , clean., and very roomy . Close to town yet not too close . There was 10 of us and we fit perfectly . The only thing I would say to improve the place would be to add some amenities to the kitchen, including some spices and cooking spray, olive oil, etc. Just the basic necessities you need to cook a meal because you don’t want to bring them with you. Other than that this place was fantastic.

Perfect house for our family getaway

Mike and Marina's home was the perfect setting for an extended weekend in Lake Placid for our family gathering of seven adults. The house is conveniently located and within a 10-15 minute walking distance to Mirror Lake and the sites and attractions of Lake Placid. The home is clean, air conditioned, and beautifully decorated with a fully stocked kitchen for preparation of meals. Our family enjoyed gathering both inside and out on the back patio. The four bedrooms have comfortable king size beds. Mike was responsive to questions that we had, both prior to arrival and during our stay. We will definitely be returning!

Pristine rental home

Family of 5 (3 kids - 15, 13, 8) stayed for 4 nights for Lake Placid Lax tournament. Perfect location close to fields and town. House was immaculate and everything organized perfectly including TV/AppleTV operation. Ping pong. Foosball and Hot tub were a hit! Spacious bedrooms, king beds and AC. Beautiful place. Mike was always available for a question. Highly recommend for a family!

Lovely experience!

We cannot say enough about our stay at Mike and Marina’s home, it was absolutely fantastic!! They were extremely responsive and enthusiastic prior, during and post our trip. Their home is spacious and very, very, very clean!! We loved the kitchen, dining and living room layout and the fireplace and hot tub were amazing! The basement is a bonus with foosball and ping pong. All the rooms are a comfortable size, have plenty of outlets and we liked the ability to lower thermostats in each bedroom. The house is located in a cute little neighborhood and an easy 16-minute walk into town or 4-minute drive, super convenient! We cannot wait to plan another trip back to Lake Placid and will be sure to book again with Mike and Marina. Hands down one of the best VRBO experiences!
