The place is conveniently located with easy access to Main Street and the Lake Placid area, which made getting around very simple. The overall facility was good, and the host was super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. That said, there were a few issues: the bathroom doors didn’t have locks, the sheets and towels had an unpleasant smell, and we couldn’t find any basic bathroom amenities like soap or shampoo in the most of the bathrooms

Girls Weekend

We came to Lake Placid looking for an easy, comfortable weekend away. This house had everything that made this stay easy and comfortable! The updated kitchen and open living room made it easy to hang in the house. Just an easy 5 minute walk to town. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Location - Can't beat it

We stayed at the Hill on the house for a week. The house was exactly as advertised. You can't beat the location and the house can easily accommodate large groups. Everything was in working order and communication was easy. One note - and it's clear in the description and listing - this is a pet friendly house - it's clear that pets do stay in the house so anyone with pet allergies should be aware of that. There is no doubt we would stay again and really enjoyed our time there.

Hill House

This house was great! There was so much space and it was so cozy. Incredibly close to the town and an easy drive to Whiteface Mountain. Every person in my family absolutely loved everything about the house. We would stay there again!

Perfect Location!

The house is perfect for a group of people looking for close proximity to main street lake placid. The house has tons of space and bathrooms. It is, also very well maintained. I would use this house again for my next visit to lake placid.

Great

Wonderful place. The ping pong table/pool table was great… especially because we had 3 days of rain. The location was great… however that hill is quite large… so walking up each time you went into town was tiring (especially carrying a little one). Air conditioning in the bedrooms would have made sleeping more comfortable. It is cool at night. (August) so the fans were great. But the birds and street can be noisy in the am.
