We had a great stay!!We are happy to follow house rules just a couple suggestions to make it easier:Bench on front porch to take shoes off and on if not wanted in house especially when wearing boots.Have a hose or bucket to use for refilling hot tub as needed. Have a rinse off shower in hot tub area if we need to rinse off before it's use. Otherwise slip and fall risk. Hooks for hot tub towels and small step stool to get in and out of tub for safety. Extra coasters for drinks.

We had an absolutely wonderful family vacation at this beautiful home in the Adirondacks. The amenities were top-notch, the location was perfect, and the peaceful surroundings made for a truly relaxing stay. The owners were incredibly welcoming—checking in at the beginning and end of our trip to make sure everything was going smoothly. The locals were just as kind, offering helpful recommendations for places to visit and things to do.If you’re looking for a quiet retreat that’s still close to Lake Placid, I can’t recommend this property enough. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful stay

Absolutely wonderful stay! The location is perfect—close to so many great hikes. We have young kids, so we cooked in most nights, and the kitchen had everything we needed (we even made a cake!). The beds were comfy, everything was clean, and it all felt really homey. Thanks for a great stay!

Whiteface ski trip

Great stay for a ski weekend! The place was very clean and all the amenities were as expected. The hot tub after skiing was fantastic!7 mins away from Whiteface mountain and a short drive to both Wilmington and Lake Placid for restaurants.

Family ski week

We had a great trip to whiteface, the skiing was amazing! The house is close to the mountain which is great for tired kids. The kitchen could use some amenities such as small juice glasses, stack of small plates and small bowels. The game area is great for the kids

The North Pole

Our family had a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday stay - the house is clean & spacious, kitchen was ready for preparing thanksgiving dinner and my grand daughter loved playing ping pong! We were secluded enough to feel the cabin ambience and enjoy some snow but close to the North Pole, LakePlacid and a few other area gems !

Looking forward to our next stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The owners were laid back, pleasant, and very informative. They offered detailed instructions about our arrival and of the house. All of the bedrooms were spacious and overall just perfect. The house was clean and very comfortable with a lovely view and well maintained hot tub. We appreciated the usefulness of the kitchen and the cookware supplied. We also made use of the game room every evening after exploring all of the amazing places the house gave us access to with its central location. We visited Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, Lake Champlain, Keene Valley, took wonderful hikes, and enjoyed all of the local beauty of that area. The nicest aspect of our stay was how easy the owners made it for us to bring our dogs along for our vacation, we very much appreciated that! We look forward to staying in one of their rentals again in the future!

Cozy Retreat

Beautiful property with great views from the back deck. It was a good central location in the Adirondacks. It was nice having the extra living area in the basement and the ping pong table was lots of fun in the evenings.

Perfect Location

Beautiful, clean home in a great location to Whiteface and the town of Lake Placid. Went to go skiing and got more than I imagined. Basement with ping-pong and foosball kept "the boys" entertained at night. I enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub while it was snowing. Definitely on my top 3 places I've stayed at, and will rent again.

Perfect place for our ski trip!

This was a perfect place to stay for our trip. My husband and I travelled with our 1 year old and a few friends. The house is clean and roomy. Every kitchen appliance we needed was there, as well as washers and dryers. Location was great! Only minutes from whiteface and a couple more to lake placid. Host was very helpful and checked in to make sure we settled in well. Will definitely come back!

Unfortunately we had to leave quickly due to a pending snow storm, but everything while we were there was great! Close to Santa Land and a couple small cute towns that we can hopefully hit up next visit!

We have stayed with this property owner before. Always top notch! Perfect locations, perfect amenities, close to everything to see snd discover! Homes are well equipped and well taken care of. Judi made sure to check with us upon arrival to make sure we were all set! Highly recommend. Great for family & friends.

Wonderful place to stay for our week in the Adirondacks. This is a very nice house that is updated with plenty of room for our group of 5 and our Aussie. A very clean pet friendly rental on a beautiful and peaceful property.

Adirondacks with the Family

This place uses its space wisely! The gas stove and kitchen are great with plenty of fridge storage. We made plenty of use of the outdoor fire pit, deck, and hot tub. Lots of wildlife comes around at sunset. TV’s we’re perfect for rainy days, extra blankets, and a cash/check wood shed right on the property. Only 24 mins to Lake Placid (or less) and plenty of trails and food near-by. We had a great time and this area was the perfect location. The basement door had an automatic close function to it which was great with having a 1 year old about. Also there’s a large closet on the ground floor queen bedroom that makes a perfect sleeping arrangement for a little one.

Spring Break

This house rental was perfect for my family plus our 2 dogs. The house was very clean which is very important to me. The location of the house was very private. The kids had fun playing at the ping pong table. The hot tub was very enjoyable. This is a great house rental!

Ski week

The chalet is a great place to stay in the Lake Placid area. The house is as advertised with plenty of space and a great game room for teens. The hot tub is definitely great after a day of skiing/outdoor activities.
