Lake Placid Tranquility

We enjoyed the comforts of this very clean home. The neighborhood was pleasant, and going for bike rides and walks was safe and easy with paths and quiet streets everywhere. Location was excellent-just minutes from supermarkets and downtown Lake Placid. It was nice to have a garage for our car and bicycles. Romero was a great host and answered our questions promptly.

We stayed at Ramiro’s Lake June home, he was a great host, he was very prompt in responding to our questions. The home was very clean, comfortable and relaxing. It felt like home. We will definitely stay again. My teens even enjoyed our stay.

Great overflow for family

This was a great home from location to space and cleanliness! Everything was better than the pictures. Garage for car, super nice grill, pool table, spacious open kitchen plan. Definitely will use in the future. Also, could see view of Lake June! Clean, clean CLEAN!

Beautiful, well equipped home

We really enjoyed staying at this property! The house is well equipped with just about everything we could possibly want for a good long stay. The host was very accommodating with excellent communication. I would definitely stay here again if we return to the area!

Great stay

Ramiro was an excellent host! The house was super clean and up to date. Was staying with family for a few days. We all enjoyed our stay and would book this place again. I highly recommend! Definitely the best home rental I’ve ever stayed in!

Nice get-away

The house was clean and Rumiro was very helpful. We needed a new place ASAP to stay and he was flexible to help us. The only thing I would note if you plan to cook is there aren’t any basic cooking supplies (salt/pepper, spices, oil, etc) which would have been helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come to stay again!

Escaping hurricane

Nice place, just lacks kitchen stuff, like baking pans and dish towels. We lost power due to hurricane, there was no propane in grill, so we couldn’t cook anything. With four adults, could have used another queen bed in one of the rooms, the two bunk beds didn’t work out. All in all nice place to stay.

Nice house in best part of Placid Lakes

I stayed three weeks in this very nice house in a great part of Placid Lakes right near the shores of Lake June-in-Winter for most of August. The house layout is great with the kitchen in the middle of the two entertainment zones -- living room and pool table room. There were a few hiccups, mainly due to the lack of instructions/directions for check-in. Use your common sense and call/message the owner for how to enter the home, lock the door, use the garage, etc. There's no garage door remote control so coming and going is a bit of a pain -- you have to open the garage door from the garage, lock the door from the house to the garage, drive your car out of the garage, get up out of your car and walk back into the garage, leaving your car running, go back into the house, leave the house through the FRONT door and lock it, then get back into your running car and drive off. It's a hassle. Also, there's a sulfur odor in the house. The owner and I struggled to figure out what was causing it and the owner professed not to be aware of it, but I suspect that wasn't true because there are numerous plug-in air fresheners throughout the house -- one doesn't usually install so many air fresheners in the absence of an offending odor. You get used to the sulfur odor a few minutes after entering the house, so it wasn't a big deal for me, but it did make me wonder if there was a septic problem with the house. A septic company came to check the septic tank and said it was working.

Excellent unit. Excellent location. Exceptional Host.

Rented the unit for 10 days with the family. The location near Lake June with water access 300' away at Tobler Park makes this an ideally affordable home. Ramiro is a wonderfully accomadating host who was quick to respond to all questions and issues. We will be returning.
