The views were amazing and the home spacious. Parking was an issue. I wished I’d known how steep the driveway was and how limited the parking. We had trouble with just two vehicles. I would have chosen a different location had I known. We were there to celebrate Christmas and were disappointed that even though the photos showed a Christmas tree, there were no seasonal decorations at all. As noted in other reviews, the place wasn’t clean. There was dried spaghetti on the counters, debrief on the floors, and dirty dishes in the cabinets. The hot tub was off, cold, and low on water so we lost an entire day of being able to access that amenity. The mattress on the primary bed was too small for the frame causing a gap making it difficult to get in and out of, that and the mattress topper hung over the side several inches. Dead bugs were everywhere. That and the inch of dust told me it had been vacant for a while and not cleaned prior to our stay. We weren’t able to make our Christmas cookies because we couldn’t find a single mixing bowl. The sliding glass door off the kitchen was hard to close and difficult to lock which from previous reviews the owners have known about but never fixed. The furniture was comfortable, the dock was great, and the kitchen spacious enough. If management would do some cleaning and maintenance it would be a nice place but from the reviews the same issues have existed for at least a year without being addressed.
