"We were just in town for the weekend for my son’s college graduation. We wanted a place away from all the crazy crowds where we could relax. This place was perfect. The location next to the water was amazing. I enjoyed my coffee on the screened in porch in the mornings listening to the birds. The house had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We loved our stay there"

"Our stay at the Pink Acorn was amazing! Kelly truly makes her guests feel welcome. She left a sweet note and lovely treats. The house is stocked with everything you need and was exceptionally clean. The beds are super comfortable and have nice cozy blankets. Am added bonus was seeing rabbits and chipmunks in the backyard. Kelly leaves directions to walk to the beach around the corner and it’s a must do…and make sure to grab some ice cream at the shop across from the park."

"My friends and I (2 couples and a single) stayed here for a friend's wedding on the east side of Madison. The location was very convenient, with Uber rides into town at about $10. We also enjoyed the nearby Olbrich gardens and bike paths. The house itself is charming and has all amenities. It is a bit creaky so you'll hear every footstep of your housemates during the stay, but it wasn't too annoying."

"We stayed in mid October for a marching band tournament in Whitewater. It was a perfect location to return to in between shows, and after the show. The property was very clean and Mike was easy to communicate with. There is plenty of seating in the main room for lots of people. We grilled out one night on the gas grill and it was nice to take walks in the safe, quiet neighborhood."

"This is a 5+ star accommodation. We absolutely could not believe how amazing and beautiful this place was. The pictures just cannot show all the detail and thought that was put into every detail to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay (all the extra amenities). They truly thought of everything that someone may need!! This is a vacation inside of itself and you would never have to leave the premises. We will make this a once a year stay if not more. First class!"

"We had a wonderful time! Super spacious! I appreciate the labeled lights and nightlights on stairs. Communication with host was very good. We came from out of state and always had lots of questions and they were very patient with us. We caught fish and saw bald eagles! Love being on the water with lots of wildlife!! Great stay!"

"We rented the home for our extended family attending our daughters graduation from the Veterinary Medicine Program at Madison. Jim was wonderful, communication was great and he always went the extra mile to make sure our stay would be perfect. The home is lovely and the view of the lake from the sunroom was a fabulous way to start and end the day. The home was stocked with everything you could need, the beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was fabulous...Jim even revealed a hidden toybox...
