Stayed at property 9-23-23 to 9-29-23. Nice quiet neighborhood.
Had a very nice time. Ate out at restaurants almost every day. We liked sitting on the back deck overlooking the lake. Very private setting.

Lovely Lakehouse
Our stay was lovely and we'd definitely recommend their home. The lake view was awesome, although we wish there were curtains to be able to close at night or when we left the home which would've made it perfect. Otherwise, everything was clean and comfortable. When we had an issue the response was also timely. Great home and location. We would stay there again.

Hidden diamond in the rough

Very relaxing stay!
Great floor plan and beautiful setting. This location was perfect for our needs. Very comfortable home! We enjoyed the wildlife and spending time on the screened porch. Very nice hosts! We would choose this place again.

Peaceful Lake House
This property is just want we needed for our family after a long day playing baseball. Very peaceful and spacious house with nice views of the lake. I also found a great 4 mile running route around the neighborhood. It felt like home away from home.

Fantastic Place
We were in town for my daughter’s wedding and wow, did we enjoy staying at this beautiful house. I don’t even know where to start, because everything was perfect…the rooms, the kitchen, the beautiful outside yard, just wonderful. The owner even came by to help us out, as we had a flat tire and had to call AAA. It’s just a truly gorgeous and relaxing place and we would love to stay here again. Thank you Bill & Sue for your hospitality!

Another Wonderful Stay
After some initial confusion related to check-in our stay turned out to be fantastic. Everything was just as described, the home was extremely clean, and the kitchen was very well equipped. We spent much enjoyable time on the screened porch with its outstandingly beautiful view of the lake. As the visit was for spending some time with my wife's 98 yo father, who is in a rehab facility, we will be making future trips to the area; we very much hope the home will be available for our future trips as we enjoyed ourselves there and think the location is ideal for us.

The property was nice, perfect size for our family of 6. Good location. Not the highest quality of furniture and appearance, but nice. If you want to fish on the lake it doesn't work from the backyard. Would've been perfect if it had a dock going to the lake. Then fishing would have been possible. Would rent this property again.

Great Stay
Beautiful and peaceful lakefront house. Very clean and spacious. Perfect for what we needed. Lots of restaurant options nearby but a fully equipped kitchen if you chose to cook. Easy self-check-in. The house was clean and spacious with a fantastic view of the Lake and we had 2 cranes, an osprey and several igrets vist the back yard. The hosts were kind and attentive. The location was very close to Sanford Airport which is why we picked it.

Nice home and great neighborhood
We stayed here while taking our son to Disney for the first time. Lake Mary/Sanford was great. Cute town and lots of good food. Home was nice. Older but had all the amenities needed. Definitely easy to pass the driveway but once you get there you won't miss it again. Only "issue" is the owners request you keep the AC temp at 75. We were out most of the day so did not effect us but if I had to be in the house throughout the day it would be an issue. Floors could use a deep cleaning also. My son's feet were always dirty and we do not wear our outside shoes past the doorway. Glad we all brought slippers. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of towels and outdoor equipment. Very spacious as well. Would definitely recommend this home if you are visiting the area.

Nice lake house getaway
Very nice place, very quiet area close to everything you need. Nice layout and very clean although the house is a little older. Everything works as it should. Only negative was just the lack of communication with the property owners. Not that we were needy but just would have been nice to receive a response if/when we ask questions thru the message feature in VRBO which is the only way we knew to try. Also if you are staying, recommend you arrive before dark. Couple of driveways close to each other and this property is tucked back aways so a little confusing at first. All in all great place to stay and would definitely recommend.

Weekend getaway
To start I will say that when I finally got in touch with the owner. She was nice and did let us check in 1/2 hour early. However, There were no automatic instructions sent to me about checking in. I sent an Email through VRBO app to the owner and they never responded. That was around 10am letting them know we were heading that way and would like the check in instructions. No reply. Sent a second email. No reply. Sent a third email about 2:30 pm and tried to call. No reply. Needless to say we were getting paranoid as we were getting close to the time to check in and I could not get a response. Finally at 3:15 we arrived early at the house and just decided to wait. Luckily the maid service was still there and she called the owner for me and the owner walked over. I guess she lives close by. We did get let in early but the lack of communication was stressful. I would say that aspect of it needs work. As far as the house. It has everything you need. The beds were comfortable and they had plenty of extra blankets and pillows, towels etc. The lake view is beautiful and very peaceful and we did take advantage of using the canoe that was nice. A couple of notes to the owner that could use work. The entry to get in a night is very dark. The pavers are pretty uneven and could be dangerous, the lights lining the pavers do not work. Very bad trip hazard. I should know as I tripped and almost got pretty badly hurt I got lucky. The Master bathroom around the tub is filled with mold. It was not properly removed before someone took caulking and covered the mold up with the caulking. I ended up showering in the other bathroom. You should have someone remove all the caulking and mold and recaulk it. This can cause an issue with people with athsma or other respitory conditions. That whole area in that bathroom is very dated and poorly painted it could use some TLC. Other than that its decent. Most families will find it is overall pleasant experience.

Girls Trip
We stayed the weekend in this home for a girls trip. The house was so clean and spacious and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and listening to the sounds of the lake. We plan on coming back for another weekend trip!

Lakeside living is awesome
We stayed at the lake cottage for almost two weeks. It was clean and well supplied and the owners friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed all our meals on the screened in back patio and played in the large yard. The cottage provided a canoe and lifevests and the lake was perfect for paddling. My 6 and 8 year old granddaughters were over almost every day and enjoyed the lake as well as the foosball/pool table. It is also conveniently located near stores, restaurants, parks and nature trails. We hope to be back again soon.

Graduation class of 2021 UCF...family celebration!
Hosts very responsive to our needs for check in and during our stay. We wanted to use the grill so the hosts made sure we had a full propane tank. Kitchen well stocked with everything we needed. Very clean, close to grocery shopping. Peaceful area. Great screened in porch. We had a great time celebrating our son's graduation from UCF and this home made it possible for us all to come together for 4 days! Thank you!!!

Beautiful location close to everything.
Here are some things I would want to know about staying here. Location: The location was great! It was wonderful eating breakfast on the enclosed back porch looking out at the lake. We were close to restaurants and stores and a short drive to many family activities but were in a quiet neighborhood away from the craziness of Orlando parks. The house: My husband enjoyed taking the canoe on the lake and the kids had a lot of fun with the foosball table each night. The layout was very comfortable and the view was lovely. The house was very clean but could use some cosmetic TLC. There was nothing glaring but if you’re looking for pristine, this wouldn’t fit that description. You should also be aware that there is a very long driveway to get to the house and there isn’t a place to turn around as the owners have understandably asked guests not to drive on the lawn. We were comfortable using the back up camera to get in and out but that might be a concern for others. Amenities: We didn’t cook at all because that’s not a vacation for me but the kitchen was well stocked and it seemed like I could have made meals if I choose to. We appreciated the beach towels and the only thing missing for me was Kleenex but I have crazy allergies and need a box in every room. The four stars rating is due to the mattresses. I know everyone has different tastes as far as soft vs. hard but no one in our family got good sleep. Every mattress seemed to have a major depression in the middle and was hard on the edges. Hubby wound up sleeping on one bed diagonally so as not to fall in the depression and I wound up on the couch. My son wound up on the floor. New mattresses all the way around would have put this place at 5 stars for us. Overall we had a great time here but would have had an amazing time if we had all gotten better sleep!

All was provided
We were amazed how much was provided for our enjoyment. The kitchen was complete, with granite countertops and a flat cooktop stove, plus all the cookware anyone would need. Our hosts were available but did not bother us. We even got a beautiful ride out on their paddle boat one morning. The overall hit of course was the screened in porch for morning coffee and then breakfast, feeling like all the fatigue and tension was draining out of us. Just what we needed!

Home away from home for niece's wedding
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property while in town for my niece's wedding. Truly enjoyed the outdoor patio, watching the ever changing lake scene. The home was clean and well stocked, we wanted for nothing - great place!
