Great Girls’ Getaway

Second Time Staying at This Property

This is the second time we have stayed at "Lake Walk" and this time we stayed for a month! The location is ideal (right across from the lake, close to Chimney Rock, restaurants, hiking, shopping, etc.). We were here in the off-season so it was fairly quiet. All you have to do is walk out the door and there are awesome places to walk and enjoy the weather. The home had everything we needed and was very comfortable (we especially enjoyed the gas fireplace on those chilly evenings). We highly recommend that, if anyone who is looking for a nice place to stay in Lake Lure, give the "Lake Walk" a try!

Excellent with a beautiful view

We enjoyed our stay at Lake Walk. The views from the covered balcony across the lake and up into the mountains was fantastic! There was a great view of Chimney Rock. This is a beautiful and clean property and very convenient to both restaurants and a grocery store. We would stay here again.

Another great Lake Lure vacation!

This property was in an ideal location for us! We have stayed in the Lake Lure area many times but this was the first time staying in a central location. We knew that the lake level would be down (which kinda lessened the beautiful views) but the location was perfect for us. The town house was spotless clean, the kitchen was well appointed, the bed was comfortable and the deck made it so nice to sit out and enjoy a drink while taking in the beautiful weather. We would love to stay here again!

Excellent Property and Location

A spacious and open layout with plenty of room for gathering, food preparation, and dining. While the bedrooms could use more storage areas for clothing, as well as a chair, the bathrooms were nice with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Overall, a wonderful place to stay with a great view.

The views are spectacular. And the location could not get any better. Really enjoyed staying at this property. Very convenient for day trips to Greenville, Ashville or wherever. Very comfortable and property manager very responsive. Would highly recommend.

Perfect Location

My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary for a couple nights and then we were joined by our adult children. We had a great time. We loved the Lake view and the walking access to everything. We spent time on the water and hiking and enjoying all of Chimney Rock. We look forward to returning this summer.

Wonderful retreat!

We had a great experience staying here for a wedding at Lake Lure. We got in late the first night and enjoyed take out from the Italian restaurant next door. The wedding was at the Inn just down the street- it was very convenient to come and go to the events of the weekend at the Inn, spa and public beach area. We felt like we were part of things but had our own little quiet, cozy oasis to rest and relax in! We found the condo to be very spacious, but cozy and enjoyed sitting by the fireplace with great views of the lake. While this property is on the main road, the speed limit is only 25mph and road noise was not an issue at all. It was very convenient to Chimney Rock State Park and the restaurants in the town of Chimney Rock-only a 5min drive! The private decks (1st and 2nd floor) were very nice and cozy feeling! I would highly recommend this location to a couple looking for a nice get away and it would be plenty comfortable for two couples to go in together as well if one didn’t mind not sleeping in a king size bed. There was plenty of space to enjoy time together or separately! Looking forward to staying here again in the future!

Perfect for some R&R

The view from the house is beautiful! The beginning of April was perfect, 70s during the day but cool off at night. We played all the games that were in the closet and read by the fireplace. I felt asleep often relaxing on the porch swing. The water pressure in the shower was excellent! Highly recommend taking the guided trolley in Asheville to learn about the history.

Snow tubing fun!

We planned our visit around snow tubing reservations nearby. We loved this property! Even though we saw rain and only a bit of snow, it was still cold enough to come in and warm up by the fire.

Perfect Socially Distant Vacation

We loved our stay! The condo was very clean and very well stocked. We loved the area and the convenience of the restaurant next door. We explored the area by hiking Chimney Rock, Triple Falls and Smoky Mountain National Park. We can’t wait to visit in the summer to use the lake.

I have a problem with the stopped up sink and tub.Thk and tub. That should not happen.

Nice property , enjoyed the stay other than plumbing issue.Suprised about having to take trash out.Would have thought cleaning people should be responsible for that.

Perfect location, views & convenient

Beautiful condo, well appointed, across from Lake Lure beach, within easy walking distance of 2 restaurants & Lake Lure Inn. Rental agents were helpful and friendly. Would love to stay there again!
