Perfect Lake House

We stayed here for a week with our family! Byron was an excellent host! Easy to communicate with and responsive to our needs! The house is in a great location with a gorgeous view of the lake and the pontoon boat was an added bonus! The rooms were comfy and the kitchen had everything we could have needed! They recommended some great places for eating out and some beautiful wineries We really had a fantastic week and would stay here again! Thank you Byron!

Location and amenities

We loved this property! The location was perfect! The house was well stocked in the kitchen for home cooked meals. I was surprised to see both a gas grill and charcoal grill. The hot tub was a hit but my favorite feature was the included boat for exploring the lake and watching the sunset! We hope to return in the future.

View is breathtaking

This was our first time visiting Lake Lure. Our family consist of 11 and typically we book a 5-bedroom vacation home; even though this was a 4-bedroom home it worked well for us, and we had plenty of space. Byron was the best host we have had in all our vacations together. He truly has a genuine heart and passion for hospitality. The boat and hot tub were a hit with the grandkids! Thanks, Byron, for sharing your home and making our vacation so special.

Everything about this home exceeded our expectations. Byron provided and stocked the house with everything you needed and more. He did a fantastic job with the renovations using the highest quality appliances and fixtures. The whole family enjoyed the week and talked about coming back again. Lures Edge Retreat

Perfect house! Perfect location!!!

This home is even better in person than the photos - Wow - The view, the lake and the mountains are stunning! The beds are comfy, and there are water toys galore. Byron and his mom, Barbara, were wonderful in answering any and all questions. Do not hesitate to stay in this home!! The kitchen is loaded with way more than the usual basics as well. We would love to go back!

Can’t say enough!!

Byron could not have been more accommodating. From the minute we got there he was the gracious host. Any questions? He was always available. The house was perfect for our family. It was clean, spacious, and fully stocked for cooking needs. The boat dock area was loaded with paddle boards, kayaks, and most importantly, a wonderful pontoon. It made the week so special to be able access the beauty of the lake. Sunsets were my favorite time. I truly can’t wait to get back. Thanks for making our time so enjoyable!!

Great Lake Getaway

We joined some friends for a lovely weekend getaway. Although the lake was in it's drained state we still had a great time. I'd love to come back at full levels and take advantage of all of the excellent toys that come with rental. What a beautiful spot!

Excellent Lake House!

We had a great time jumping off the dock house, boating, and relaxing with friends! Having access to the pontoon boat was a lot of fun and the hot tub was the icing on top.

Lovely stay in Lake Lure

We travelled to Lake Lure to visit family. The house is beautiful and cozy with wonderful mountain and lake views. The pontoon was an awesome bonus and we very much enjoyed being out on the lake. Would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful Place at Lake Lure

A Great Family Get AWay!

This was our 2nd year renting this beautiful home on the lake! It has a room large enough for everyone to gather together, and four lovely bedrooms to retreat to for some quiet time. Second stay for three of us; third stay for two of us. Fantastic experience from start to finish. I just wish we could stay longer! Lake House Water View

This house has so many amenities to keep everyone busy and happy! The water toys, kayaks, paddle boards, private little beach like water access, hot tub and the best a pontoon boat to explore the lake and try some of the restaurants. The view of the lake was beautiful. Everyone could have their own space. Gorgeous sunsets from the roof deck too.

Amazing property

After staying in Vrbos for over 10 years, this by far was the most clean and well stocked place we have ever stayed. Byron has thought of everything to make this home comfortable. It felt more like a home with all the personal touches and decorations then a place we rented. Byron was an amazing host who made sure we got settled in quickly. The lake which is steps from the back door was perfect for all of us adults and children. Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with us!!
