Third trip to U.P.

My wife and I (and our 2 dogs) came again to this wonderful spot that we've enjoyed for the third time.We relaxed, hiked, kayaked, and visited some of our favorite spots. It was wonderful as always!

Beautiful Location

We enjoyed our stay, location was perfect, accommodation was fantastic, would recommend property for a scenic getaway, we enjoyed we could take our dog who luvved the beach walks. Todd was very communicative which we appreciated. House is very well equipped. Sauna was a fun bonus. Would definitely like to return.

Relaxing

Our week was wonderful, despite some crazy early-mid May weather (which we knew could be the case). The home was very cozy, the views were beyond beautiful. We were greeted with a nice welcome gift on the table, which was appreciated, the home was just as pictured and check in was easy. It was an experience to use the sauna and do a lake plunge, the kayaks were a great feature that we used, and we explored much of the surrounding area. All in all, it was an excellent choice of a place to stay while we explored an area of the UP. The house was well stocked with necessities, the beds were comfy, walking on the long (and secluded at this time of year) beach was soothing and enjoyable.

Amazing Spring Break

Four of us stayed at Todd's place and we had a fantastic time. The views from the house are stunning and the house itself is cute and the perfect size. We walked on the beach, skied from the house after a fresh snow, and enjoyed the sauna along with dips in the icy lake. We were able to easily access cross country ski and hiking trails. Todd was very responsive to our questions. We had an incredible time and highly recommend.

Amazing!!!

Beautiful place in an amazing location! Great place for a base to go exploring around the peninsula, and to sit back and relax listening to the waves crash on the sandy beach. Awesome hosts, and will have to return at some point in the warmer months!

Cabin was the perfect cozy place for a winter getaway. It was great to come back to after enjoying all the snow and winter sports. The view of the lake was beautiful. We loved the wood fired sauna and stove. Beds were comfy. There were a fair amount of annoying big flies which was unexpected in January with subzero temps. Overall a great stay with everything we needed

An absolute treasure! I’ve stayed there twice now and had an excellent experience each time. The host is super responsive (replies within 15 mins) and accommodating. Looking forward to going back in the New Year!

Beautiful Cottage and Gorgeous Beach

The cottage is very nice with large picture windows across the back facing Lake Superior. It's nice being on the leeward side of the Pennisula as it got pretty cold and snowy. This was easily remedied by putting a few logs in the cast iron fireplace. Very relaxing with a lot of privacy. You can walk over a mile in either direction on the fine sand beach. We will defiantly go back!!

Great stay

We had a great stay here. Perfect timing for the fall colors! House location is great for spending time by the water and on the beach they have but a little bit of a drive to places. Hour from copper harbor and half hour from Calument. For fall is was nice and quite at the house and beach. We would go back.

Absolutely gorgeous beach location!

Our cousins from Florida had never experienced Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and this cottage was the perfect “home base” for our trip. We had lovely weather that allowed us to keep the windows open and enjoy the sound of the waves on the beach. The sauna was used every night and is a great way to end each day. The hosts were extremely easy to work with and I can’t say enough about how welcoming their beach side cottage is. We hope we can be back to enjoy it again in the future.

Cute cabin on the beach

Cute cabin on the beach. Perfect get away for anyone looking for a little lake therapy/wanting to be surrounded by the sounds of waves. The sunrise on the lake and sunsets over the pond were breathtaking. I recommend for anyone looking to explore the Keweenaw!
