"Beautiful property- the garden and firepit areas were lovely. It was very secluded but still a quick 4-ish minute drive to a dollar store, and 15-20 minutes to downtown Asheville. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Thanks for having us!!"

"Smoky Mountain Solace was the perfect home base after a long day of exploring the area. We had everything we needed and the inside was warm and cozy. We especially loved sitting on the porch in the morning and the evening. Parking for our large truck was a bit tricky but my husband mastered that quickly. We definitely recommend staying at SMS!"

"Could not have been better. Property was even better than expected. I spent time talking to and getting to know the neighbors, all very nice people. Spectacular views yet close to everything we needed, even saw an elk walking across the street. Communication with the owner was second to none. She replied promptly to every question, supplied area information, no detail left undone."

"We thuroughly enjoyed our stay in Maggie Valley. The property is just as it's shown in the photos. The views are outstanding. The home was well equipped with everything you could need. We stayed for 10 days and never ran out of things to do. The deck with the hit tub and fire pit were a huge bonus. We were able to spend time in town which is in walking distance and also travel a short distance to explore other local areas. We had such a great time and appreciate the home immensely."

"This was a great home away from home and location to visit several of our favorite places in and around Asheville with our friends. It’s far enough away from any hustle and bustle to be quiet and relaxing and also close enough to everything we wanted to do. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again! "This home is GORGEOUS. So much space to spread out, but perfectly furnished for cozy gatherings. They thought of everything, with all kitchen needs, household needs (they even had scotch tape I forgot to bring to wrap a gift!!) - comfortable beds and pillows, soft towels with more than plenty for everyone. The bedrooms were spread throughout the house abd plenty of bathrooms for our family of 5. We will definitely stay here again."

The property was spotlessly clean and had plenty of spacious bedrooms, allowing our group to enjoy both privacy and togetherness.
