The cabin itself was exactly what we needed for ourself and 2 pups. Brent and Gina are superstars and were incredibly helpful with recommending local places. I am an artist and builder and i know what effort it takes to do so. The home has a large open common great room kitchen. Just off main road. The host was so accommodating and responded quickly. I was up for a loss of a family member and she even let my dog out for me checking on the heat for me with the weather...

Enjoyable just sitting on the deck and enjoying the nature and peace. Would recommend a 4 wheel drive to get up and down Plott Balsam Road (though we did manage with a 2wd sedan). Very close to Soco Falls and Blue Ridge Parkway. A lovely secluded getaway that you won't want to leave. "
