Positive:
The hotel is right next to the lake where there's a beach where you can swim. They allowed us to check in 1 hour before 3pm, which was much appreciated as on the 4th July we had temperatures of 124F. The gentleman at reception was very friendly.
Swimming pool. Clean and working
Negative:
The room was mediocre, carpet had not been vacuumed, bedsheets were in need of change, size is ok for 3 adults and the fridge is nice. The ice machine was out of order and the aircon in the room was not sufficient as soon as the sun was hitting our side on the wall. And it was really hot!!! A few people were complaining. Breakfast was terrible. We paid twice the rate because of being the 4th July and I feel it was not worth that money. The place needs tender loving care. For 1 night we did not make a fuss but I would certainly not stay there again. But it might be ok for guests with other expectations. At the end of the day it is very subjective.
