Older property with a great location

House could use some updating but overall, we had a good time. Hot tub is large with a great view of Boulder Mountain. Hot tub did not have any chlorine in the feeder.

Relaxing and Spacious.

It was such a nice place to stay. It had enough space for my husband and I and all 6 kids. It has air and heating which is great for all seasons. The kids loved the games, books, and hot tub. I would definitely come back!

Just ok

I will say for the price this place was ok. Many broken things like the front screen door. We couldn’t leave the screen door open because there was no screen- just open to the outside. Clearly they don’t want to invest any money in the home, inside or out. Kitchen drawers broken, extremely old pots, pan spatulas etc.. This house just needs work all around—paint, furniture and lighting upgrades to start. It was nice that linens and towels were included.

The house was ok but needs some help the dishwasher was leaking every time it was used the breaker for kitchen outlets kept tripping, the air hockey and pool table were broken, and to small works for children under 9 years old, Friday evening was loud due to neighbors out partying most of the night at two other houses

Nice spring break getaway

Super quiet neighborhood. Definitely enjoyed our few days there. The lake was absolutely beautiful. This is going to be our new spring break getaway spot.

Too much $$$ for what you get

The house is a bit run down: unlevel floors, difficult to use cabinets/drawers, uncomfortable beds/couches, broken/unusable items (hot tub cover easy on/off mechanism and retractable awning), wobbly kitchen table, firepit has holes at base/wall connection, shaky/unstable bunk bed, and non working indoor fireplace. This house should be half the price of what is charged due to it’s mediocre conditions.

Nice home and great location

Had a great time with friends for this winter get away! The home was clean, although a little outdated (appliances, furniture), the hot tub was larger than expected and the atmosphere scerene. Just a few minutes away from Big Boulder we were able to go snow tubing. Would recommend for sure.

Great house close to Big Boulder

Pros: 1. Very cute house with 4 bedrooms. 2. Plenty of space for 2 families. 3. The kids loved the hot tub and the games. 4. It is very close to Big Boulder. 5. Small but very workable kitchen for making family meals. Cons: 1. Gas fireplace was needed to make the living room warm most days, but the ventilation of the gas fireplace was not adequate. A couple people of our party had nausea and headaches that got better after being outside for a while and did not come about when the fireplace was kept off. 2. Need more towels. There were only 8 towels provided for 8 people. That didn't leave any to have a dry fresh towel for the shower after using the hot tub. 3. Need to have more chlorine tablets available for the hot tub. The dispenser was empty and on the last day had a mild funky smell.

Overall Great Property and Very good location

We loved the place, the location and all amenities. Positives: 1) Appreciated plenty of plates and utensils in the kitchen; 2) Providing the laundry detergent and dishwasher supply is a plus; 3) Propane grill with extra propane cylinder is thoughtful; 4) We enjoyed the chairs outside around firepit - very comfortable. Few suggestions to the homeowner: 1) Both showers needs improvement - water flow is poor and below par. 2) Kitchen could use some more pots for cooking. Especially, when you market the property for big group.

Solid rental

We did two nights here as it was much more budget friendly than a lot of others in the general area and it fully met our expectations. Everything was as written and our weekend was very smoothe and we had a great time. The twin beds were very firm in the shared bedroom but we weren’t expecting four seasons style needing so it was all good. I’d easily recommend this place.

Very Nice home, would stay again!

This is a lovely vacation home. The house is as pictured, and very nicely decorated. Wonderful little trinkets all around the home that give it a lovely charm. Outside is wonderful with firepit, bbq, lights decor, swing and views. I highly recommend if staying in warmer weather. Deer came in AM, very friendly! Squirrels will come do not leave garbage out they will rip through bag in seconds. Saw some pretty birds too! Kitchen is very nice, pantry could use a few more pots / pans but overall great. Dishwasher was great to have. Modern updated kitchen with electric stove. (Regular Coffee pot not kcup) Plenty of bowls. Plates and silverware. We did find a few items not cleaned well but we just ran them through dishwasher, these things can happen. Main living room space is good and cozy, TV on wall you look up to watch. Not my cup of tea, hurt my neck but works with Roku / smart apps. You can see it from all rooms in down stairs living area so that's a plus! Bedrooms are big, nice as well though can get a bit colder at night (living room also) main Game room / front door room was a hit with kids, games and TV / hangout area. We had a few minor issues addressed immediately and would not stop us from coming back. House is clean overall but some areas could use a "touch up". Its a perfect country wood home, this is not the Ritz. We brought some of our own paperoods and toiletries and thamlfully cause we needed them as the house had some but not an over abundance. No tissues or p towels or extra garbage bags I suggest you bring that stuff in case. Overall this was a beautiful 5 day trip with my family. I reccomend this house and I can only see the property improving !
