Perfect Pocono House

The house is adorable and has more room than we thought. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything we needed. The area around the outdoor fire pit was cleaned and plenty of chairs for 10 people. Shanna was easy to get a hold of and responded right away. My girlfriends and my ages range between 34-43 and after one stay have called this house “our pocono house.”

Repeat guests!

We have been staying in the Lake Harmony area with our family every year for over 6 years now. We had yet to rebook a home until we stayed at the Chalet last summer. We were so happy with the home that we decided to rebook again for this year. The home continued to meet our expectations. Any issues were quickly resolved by Maria who is the most easy going yet extremely courteous host I have experienced in all my travels. Some of our favorite parts of the home are the incredibly well equipped kitchen, the game room on the bottom floor for the kids, the hot tub which is so easily accessible, the garage to store all our shoes, golf clubs, etc. and the fire pit! We have stayed in homes before that were not kept as clean as we desire. Maria takes pride in her home and has made sure that it is up to our standards. You will not regret booking a stay at Le Petit Chalet.

Family renuion

We selected this property for our family reunion of 8 as it had all the features were were seeking--plenty of space, hot tub on the deck, fire pit, well stocked kitchen and communicative host. Everything posted was as advertised and we even had the pleasure of the local wildlife visiting us each day, deer as well as a very curious bear. We throughly enjoyed our stay and hope to book again in the future.

The place was perfect for group of 8 adults , 2 toddlers and 2 babies. Kitchen was well equipped. Hot tub was perfect for us to hangout. All attractions and restaurants are close by from the rental which we loved it. Quick response to texts.

Our Lake Harmony Estate Siblings Retreat

We really enjoyed our stay. The Cabin is beautiful, the location is great, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. We enjoyed the hot tub, and grilling on the deck. We plan to return soon.

Most informative and hospitable hosts and charming house

We spent 10 days at this property (two boys 5, 8) and one half of the stay we had my parents visit to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The second part of our stay we had a family with two boys (6, 9) join us. Even though it was our first time in this area, Maria had prepared us with packets on how to navigate the area, several food options and activities to do in the area, and was always accessible for small questions like do you have any Advil in the house as well as bigger questions like how to "turn off the hot tub" (which you never do!). Her kitchen is well stocked with appliances and plates/bowls/mugs (and spices and cookware) and is very suitable for people who plan to cook at home. We stayed at a second property in the same neighborhood and it was clear that Maria takes very good care of her home and guests. The rooms were spacious, comfy and the temperature was regulated by individual thermostats/AC units. It was quiet during the nights with the occasional new rentals that came in for their weekend party. One small complaint I had was the level of cleanliness of the floors and carpeting. The kitchen floors were fairly dirty with visible sticky spots, crumbs and greasy smear marks. I chose to clean it myself to make sure it was done quickly and thoroughly. The carpeting/rug area is a bit worn and looks dirty, even though it may have been vacuumed. The sheets and towels were clean and good quality (compared to the second property where it was close to sheets of paper for linens). The kids had plenty to do on the lower level with the several games left for renters to enjoy, and so the adults were able to enjoy some quiet time upstairs with some conversation and card games. And the outdoor activities were enjoyed by all (except, be extra careful on the "little boulder" field in Arrow Wood Ct, both ends of our age range fell including 5 year olds and a 76 year old). Overall, we highly recommend this property because it comes with a very responsive owner, and it is clear to us that she takes great pride in her adorable property and takes good care of it and her guests.

Cabin sweet cabin - Well-appointed, rustic and lots of charm!

This cozy clean mountain home was perfect for my family during these times and would be great for anyone seeking a rustic yet modern retreat. The host Maria was very informative and accommodating since our last minute booking was cancelled. The home itself was well-kept with pride and joy as you can feel the owners have for it with its little touches. Highly recommend and will certainly be back in the summer! Girls Weekend

The property was very nice and cozy. We wish we had more days at the location. The place had only 2 TVs so we’re encouraged to spend time together as a family... Which was a wonderful thing. We will definitely stay here again. The only thing was the mattress need to be updated and the living room sofa and couch but it was manageable.

When we walked into this cute house we were very impressed with how clean it was. Every surface was pristine and dust free. The hot tub was amazing and the TV room downstairs was a lot of fun with the chest full of old school games. Wonderful house for a family.

Weekend getaway

We had a great stay. The house fit 13 of us. The owner communicated with us and responded quickly. The lake is too far to walk to especially If you can not walk up/down hills. But it is a .9 mile car ride and the lake is absolutely beautiful.

We loved our stay at this property. Very clean! The owners responded quickly and kindly to any questions we had. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and sitting by the camp fire. We went on several lovely hikes nearby. It was perfect for a get away with friends.

Cleanest, most organized place at Lake Harmony!

We have stayed at many Lake Harmony rentals over the past five years and Maria’s home is by far the most organized and clean. We had everything we could have asked for and she was quick to respond throughout the whole process. We were so pleased we already booked our week for next summer!

Better than I hoped

Perfect experience and I don't say that lightly. The property and location are a 10 by themselves but when you add Maria (the owner) and her attention to every detail, her forethought of anything you may need or be looking for...things go to another level. We did this as a one time alternative to our usual trips (Disney, cruise, Island, etc) to avoid crowds during this time. Well my wife and kids are already on me to make sure we come again next year! Can't say enough. If you don't rent this property, you're missing out.
