Great lake front property with paddle boards and kayaks for guest use. It’s spacious inside with plenty of parking outside. We had a great experience and we booked it again for next year.

We had the best time staying at the Chalet Ripple Lake house. I celebrated my son’s 21st birthday over a long weekend. It was set up perfectly to house his friends downstairs. While the adults stayed upstairs. The house had paddle boards, kayaks and canoes which everyone used throughout the weekend. It’s also in a great location on the lake, close to restaurants & bars. I also want to add how amazing Kerry is! She was so responsive to any questions I had. She’s a fantastic host! I would definitely rent this house again in the future.

Great Spot

We loved it!

The Chalet Ripple was absolutely perfect for our family of 11 and a dog. There was more than enough room, so we never felt crowded. The views were spectacular and we even got to view a couple of rainbows over the lake. To sum it up, it was perfect!

Great location but poorly maintained

While the location and communication was incredible, the cleanliness and overall maintenance of the house was lacking, especially in the basement.There were loose thresholds throughout the house (some held together with duct tape and others completely unattached) posing a hazard to everyone, but most importantly my young kids. Toilet paper was single ply. A towel rod in one of the bathrooms was broken. We also found rat dropping in the drawers of the kitchen. Floors had obviously not been cleaned recently as the bottoms of our feet/socks were instantly blackened. Vacuum was not working. For the basement, there was trash under the beds. One of the bed rooms and living room didn’t have any kind of ceiling lights; only lamps. Even when the thermostat was turned all the way up, it was cold. The soap dispenser was empty. There was a squashed bug still on the wall. The shower pressure was so abysmal it was practically nonexistent. We did also have an issue with the front door not locking from the outside, but communication in resolving this issue was swift and effective. They were really responsive to our concerns and quick to find a solution. If not for these easily fixable problems, it would have been a five star stay. Unfortunately, added up, these issues were not negligible, especially where health and safety is concerned. However, I would be willing to stay at this rental again if these concerns were addressed.

Summer trip

It was a great week. Location was great, can’t get any better than directly on the water. Plenty of activities for the kids and safe right out by the dock. The only complaint would be that the house could have been cleaner and pictures online are outdated.

Wonderful lakeside vacation spot

This property is in a great location and the house has a layout that had plenty of room for our group of 13. We had a great time with the water sports on the lake and took full advantage of our time there. I highly recommend this property.

AMAZING rental on the lake!!

Our large group stayed at this rental for Labor Day weekend and had the greatest time!! It was very accommodating to our needs- our favorite part was the new dock, we spent our entire time out there. The views were 10/10. We also enjoyed grilling on the new grill!! We have no complaints and will definitely be coming back in the future! :)

Incredible location and great for family

Overall, this was an amazing property! Great location on Lake Harmony. Plenty of space for everyone, without being on top of each other. And the waterfront deck and dock were perfect for all the water toys to be enjoyed. The only negatives would be the overall cleanliness of the property, oven and grill when we arrived and the kitchen pots and pans were in deplorable shape. They really need to be replaced as they are "non stick" and they have several deep scratches in them which is dangerous to the health of those using them. Other than that, it is a great place to stay and play! My family and I had the best vacation and Chalet Ripple was a big part of that! We will definitely be back in 2024!

Family Get-Together

We stayed at the Chalet Ripple this past weekend and we had a good time. The place was cozy and had almost all the necessary belongings you would need for a getaway. The place had 5 rooms and 3.5 bathrooms. It had enough rooms to fit everyone in my family. The bedroom on the lower level only had 2 bunk beds only suited for small children and definitely not adults. I would suggest for the bed in the bedroom by kitchen to be changed- it made so much noises expecially with movement. The whole open concept ( kitchen, dining room and living room) on the upper level and living space on the lower level was great. We had enough space to roam around and not feel crowded in especially on the day we stay in because the weather did not fully cooperate. I loved watching the sunrise and sunset with the view of the lake. We brought food to cook and grill for the whole stay. I would only suggest for the grill to be cleaned between guests because it needs a deep cleaning. The patio and deck area was my favorite because it had the full view of the lake. The kids enjoyed their stay because they were able to use the SUPs and paddle boats provided, used the firepit at night for their smores, and played some of the games from the place. We all had a great time!

Needs Maintenance

The location was great. However house not much. Could not use oven at all so caked with grease it smoked. Outside grill was just as bad had to clean out and inside before could even use as backup for stove. Spider webs outside on all the windows and on the upper porch. Deck was rough/splintering and needs fixing. Washer broke the third day. No repair was done by the time we left. Outside the way going to lake had broken and crumbling concrete not safe. Both tubs had no anti-slip on bottoms very slippery. Kitchen lower cabinets dirty. Good thing I brought a fe pans. On the upside there were plenty of dishes and flatware. This could be a really beautiful location all around if some maintenance was done as house itself is comfortable. Also the garbage cans need to be enclosed somehow as the morning we left we believe bears got into two that had stuff in them and it was all over the yard that we had to clean up. Cans too high for anything else. Most of these items are just maintenance.
