Great lake view house

Easy communications with the owner. Straightforward check-in. House is beautiful and fully equipped. Greay views of the lake. Very short drive to all amenities and avtivities even in the wider vacinity.

Weekend with friends

We had an amazing stay in Lake George. This home is both gorgeous and comfortable. We had ten adults staying here and we all had a wonderful time together thanks largely in part to our stay here. It was awesome to see the lake through the kitchen, living room, and back deck - with views of the firework show happening downtown on Thursday night. Would love to stay again someday.

Beautiful home

Went for a weekend golf trip. Weather ended making us stay in the house for the majority of the trip but that was the best part. Nicest house I’ve ever rented will go back again. Watching the thunderstorm from all the windows in the living room was incredible

Gorgeous house with everything you need

The house is incredible, very spacious kitchen that makes cooking and preparing food with a large group easy. The deck has plenty of room to sit out in the sun and enjoy the gorgeous views of the lake. The bedrooms are the perfect size and the master was beautiful. Plenty of silverware, cookware, cups, glasses, mugs, etc anything you need. Just a short ride to the lake and only 25 minutes from Saratoga as well.

Family Christmas

Overall, the house was great. Fantastic view of Lake George. We love the kitchen, great cooking equipment and several sinks, however being Italian, some larger pots for pasta and some additional kitchen utensils would have been nice. It took a while to figure out the light switches and several light bulbs were burnt out, as well as the basement heating zone being problematic, but those issues were quickly resolved. The upstairs bathrooms did have an "interesting layout." The owner was quick to respond to all issues and concerns. I would recommend this house for your stay.

Great Spacious House for Extended Family

The house was a wonderful size and layout for a large group with extended family. Everyone loved how big the kitchen was and the beautiful view of the lake from the deck! We were able to see pretty clearly the Thursday night fireworks from the deck which was really nice! Just some suggestions: the two lounge chairs on the deck were broken when we arrived so they could be fixed or replaced, and the kitchen could use some more items like additional silverware, wine glasses, and serveware. It was great to have so much room in the house to spread out and everyone had their own space!

Gorgeous home

Stayed here for a family vacation. We had kids ranging 1-17 and there was space for everyone. The house is absolutely beautiful with great views and a large, open kitchen/living room area. It was a very short, easy drive to get into town for restaurants and activities. Excellent spot!

Great location

Beautiful home set off in a wooded area but only a few minute drive into the town of Lake George. Host was very responsive and answered questions right away. The kuering with a variety of k cup choices was a nice added bonus.

Beautiful Home with Majestic Lake George Views

This property was the perfect backdrop to a family get-together at Lake George. The large kitchen facilitates warm and inviting meals and opens into a spacious great room with a breathtaking view of the lake tucked behind the trees. This home provides the perfect balance of feeling isolated in the Adirondacks, with only a 5-minute drive to all of the attractions of downtown Lake George, as well as the lake itself. The home, and our stay, was better than we could have expected. The hosts were very responsive and took care of everything that we needed prior to and throughout the stay. We would definitely stay at this property again, as we are sure that it would be just as beautiful in summer as it was in the winter!

Great for Family Gatherings

Lovely setting and very spacious and we had a wonderful family gathering. At first, we had a problem with the heat. The owner was very concerned -- as were we. But after talking to him on the phone, we realized we must have turned the burner switch off, which was at the top of the stairway to the to lower level , thinking it was a light switch. Once that was on, all went well. Only suggestion: Need more silverware.

Awesome stay

I would highly recommend this property for a small group of friends or a family. Our group of 8 friends had a great stay. The house is spacious and there is a good size deck and yard in the back. Short drive to Lake George village and other attractions. Ankana was easy to communicate with and accommodations were as advertised.

Family vacation with adult children

We had a great time. Our children and us had a great time. Although it was raining a couple of days while we were there, we really enjoyed our time in. Played card games and board games. Plenty of space for everyone. Only six of us but the house is big enough for much more. Hopefully we can go back with our grandkids one day! Very well kept and organized! Will go back definitely!

Concerns

The house was nice but there was no hot water till Tuesday night and we left Wednesday morning! Also the lights that worked were sporadic and poorly marked as to which was which. Terri buganski Sent from my iPad
