The cabin was very nice and extremely spacious. Rick the host was was a pleasure to deal with and gave clear check in and check out instructions as well as local knowledge regarding things to do and places to eat. We had a great time checking out the winter carnival and would absolutely stay here again

Easy, Clean, Convenient

We had a group of guys get together to watch the Masters. Communication was easy, he accommodated us with an odd check in time as well. House was very clean, plenty of space and had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Great ADK home in Lake George!

This is a great place for a family to stay! The kitchen area is wonderful for large groups and entertaining. We are hoping to stay again!

Great location

It’s a great property lots of bedrooms, excellent motif. We were in town for the car show, bunch of guys and having the grill available was amazing. We saved money and had burgers, dog. Breakfast sandwiches in the AM. It was a great time. Hopefully we can book the house again next year

Nice Solid Rustic Stay

Group of 9 in for a family wedding very comfortable - 6 Adults, 2 7 year old girls and a 1.5 year old. Host was right on with instructions and check-in, Check- out. Large and comfortable common areas. Had everything we needed and appreciate the host’s extension of sundry items. Had no issues, one power company outage that was resolved with no intervention other than resetting clocks as expected. Enjoyed staying next to another large family unit next door with the same great host. If you have a large group, this is a great option.

The host was very friendly and accomodating. Spacious property. Good value. A few mild concerns: - The propert is right by a pretty busy road. it can be a little noisy outside. - There was a mouse. - It is dark in the property, it could use some more lights.

Sisters weekend 2024

Spacious, rustic Adirondack home. Large kitchen, and dinning room for 7 to eat meals. The center Island made it easy to set up food and beverages for all. The living room was big enough for 7 to watch TV. Easy drive into Lake George Village.

Nice Log Home

This place was pretty cool. Seemed larger in person than in the photos. There are games and things for kids and adults to do if you stay in. Each room has a white noise machine which I thought was pretty cool considering my little ones sleep with that, I didn’t have to unpack mine to use. All in all it was nice. The guys enjoyed the fire pit outside. My only “complaint” is there were a number of cob webs found throughout the house, but nothing crazy. Bathrooms and bedrooms seemed clean. Some guests weren’t crazy about the check out responsibilities either, with taking all of the sheets off of the bed, vacuuming, etc. thank you for a nice stay 😊

Changing of the Colors Regatta

Went to Lake George to race. The lodge accommodated 5 crew members plus one perfectly. It was located close to the beautiful Lake George Club and had everything we needed. The booking process was easy thanks to Rick. Had a great weekend both on and off the water.

Family stay at the lake

Our stay at this property was great. The house had everything for a comfortable stay for a family of five with room to spare ( we didn’t use the bunk room that slept four more people). The kitchen was fully equipped, game room was packed, shuffleboard was great, and there was a very useful laundry room. The homeowner was super informative and was kind enough to recommend a few great restaurants. All our needs were met! We would definitely return for a future stay.

The lodge was incredible!!

Rick’s place was absolutely everything my family hoped for when looking for a place in LG to celebrate my Dad’s 60th birthday. The pictures do not do this place justice as everything was much bigger in person. I jokingly told Rick I did not want to leave a review in hopes of keeping his place a secret. My family and I had some unforgettable memories at the lazy bear lodge because of how great the space was. The beds were extremely comfortable and all the linens were fresh/clean. The island kitchen is massive and was perfect for family breakfast. The location is prime for LG because it is half way to Bolton’s Landing and halfway to LG village. The outdoor area was perfect for late night fire pits. Rick was a great host and was very attentive to my family’s needs. The game room has every game you can imagine and the shuffleboard in the living room was a lot of fun. Would 1000% recommend the lazy bear lodges for anyone looking to stay in the LG area.

Wonderful Weekend

The cabin is even bigger and nicer than the pictures! The island in the kitchen is HUGE! Great open concept so everyone and be together! The property owner is very nice! He went above and beyond to make sure our stay went perfectly!
