Lori’s home was lovely, clean and very cute. We were there to celebrate our daughter’s marriage and had two of our daughters and their families with us (6 adults and 2 children).
The living area was so much larger than we even thought. My husband and I along with one of our daughters and her husband stayed downstairs occupying 2 bedrooms, and my other daughter, her husband and our two grandchildren occupied the upstairs suite. It was very warm upstairs when we arrived on a 90 degree day, but we soon found the heat was left on (most likely an oversight) versus having the a/c on. However, it didn’t take too long to cool off after we fixed that.
We were all SO impressed with the water pressure and temperature. We have never had a shower experience anything like that. Please let us know what you have there—we want to install the same system in our home!
Wish the parking was a little easier, but we knew about this way before we came. This also isn’t unique to Lori’s home—it’s all of Lake George---as a popular vacation area, that’s pretty much normal. We did bring our smaller vehicle (instead of the pickup truck), but our two girls’ cars were on the larger size so there was a lot of moving around each time someone needed to get out. We were also very appreciative of the neighbor next door who offered us a spot on his property. It made the situation much easier to handle.
Just a small suggestion for the technically challenged, it might help those like us if the wifi password used numbers/letters that weren’t so close to being some other number/letter—our 12 year old granddaughter finally got it to work after 15 minutes of trying different ways (lol).
All in all, it was a great visit and are definitely considering this adorable home next visit!
Thanks, Lori, for being so accessible by email and text. It is very clear how you care for your guests.
