Definitely rustic, but good rustic. Enjoyed setting on the porch watching the river. Well set up. Everything you would need was provided. High quality linens and towels.just show up with your clothes and groceries and relax.

We loved our stay! The place was in a great location with a gorgeous view of the river. Well stocked on spices and kitchen items, a great spot for morning coffee on the porch, and the gifts were a lovely touch. The bird feeder outside the bedroom was a great way to wake up! I’d definitely love to book here again.

This property was beautiful and just as magnificent as the pictures! The cottage is charming with every detail thought of! You feel welcome from the moment you step inside. The host is incredibly thoughtful with the number of conveniences that are there, you really only need to bring yourself. My husband and I needed a relaxing get-a-way, and this was ideal. Beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces to relax and unwind. We will definitely be reserving again. Top-notch host!

We really enjoyed our stay. Property was located in an amazing spot looking over the river. Every detail was carefully thought out in the cabin including towels, utensils, appliances even a Keurig machine which made our morning coffee by the river even more enjoyable!

The location was beautiful, the sounds of nature were all we wanted and we got exactly that. Living in densely populated Long Island we very seldom get this type of privacy and time alone with nature anymore. The home itself had everything we needed, and everything felt so thoughtful it almost seemed curated. Host was very friendly and accommodating which made it all the better. My only regret or negative was that we only stayed a couple of nights.

This property was EXACTLY what we had in mind for a relaxing ladies’ weekend. That view of the Hudson River was the highlight of the stay; it was completely mesmerizing to have a cup of coffee next to that every morning. Everything was beautifully organized and well-labeled, especially when it came to the kitchen. Pamela was a FANTASTIC host who was very hospitable and extremely easy to get a hold of. I highly recommend this listing for a peaceful Adirondack experience!

Great location...close to everything. Beautiful deck overlooking the Hudson River with its soothing sounds. A great place to come back to after a day of fly fishing or hiking, The house is supplied with everything in the kitchen you could ever need...we just brought some groceries. The greatest compliment is a return visit, and we are already discussing same....and everything we needed to know was right there and easy to find. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time with our kids, age 15 and 17. The property was close to town and I can’t say enough about the beauty of the area. Loved falling asleep to the sounds of the water just below the deck!

Excellent location right on the edge of the upper Hudson River. The sunlight on the river, and the sound from the rushing water over the rocks was great. The cottage had excellent amenities, including a/c, a backup generator that kept everything going during a storm, and a fully equipped kitchen with lots of different spices. The outdoors seating area was great…several bird feeders, including for the hummingbirds. We loved the place.

Perfect little getaway for me and my husband. Listening to the Hudson River was so relaxing felt like you were in a treehouse. Loved all the little touches only about a 10 minute drive to Lake George one little recommendation would be possibly to replace the mattress in the master bedroom. It seemed like it was at its end of its life. Also recommendation would be your instructions all match. It seem like the ones we got emailed and the ones in the book that was left were different. definitely would stay here again.
