This property has all the physical amenities one could want for a most enjoyable week or more at Lake Arrowhead. Nice property. Everything we needed for our Leadership Retreat, which were all men. Minor observations, grill a little dirty, front bushes starting to block the walkway, broken tile in jacuzzi. If our wives had come there might have been more but it suited our needs.

Our church rents a few cabins every year for our annual Ladies Retreat. We used this house for our "Mommy & Me" group. It was so spacious. The little girls loved the big jacuzzi, play room loft and pool table. There were no complaints. Trip went perfect. It's a must stay!

Our stay at this vacation home was fantastic! We visited as a family with young kids, and it truly had everything we needed and more. It’s clear the hosts really care about creating a space where families can relax and enjoy themselves.The location was perfect—peaceful and convenient, close to shops, parks, and local attractions. The kitchen was fully loaded with everything we needed to cook full meals, which we really appreciated.One of the highlights for the adults was the private dry sauna and jacuzzi—what a treat! After long days exploring or chasing after kids, it was amazing to unwind in the jacuzzi or enjoy a quiet moment in the sauna. Such a luxury!The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a warm, cozy feel. We loved the spacious living area and outdoor space, perfect for family time or just relaxing in the evening.We would absolutely return and highly recommend this vacation home to any families—especially those traveling with young children. Celebration Cabin

Our stay was booked for a birthday celebration. We had a total of 11 adults and it fit all of us comfortably. Everything was great from communication with owner, the checkin process, cabin amenities , to parking. Everyone was raving about how much they loved the cabin. We are definitely coming back again. We enjoyed all the fireplaces in many living spaces, the giant couch for cozy fue pit talks and games. The pool table room was large and a fun activity. They provided shower towels for all of us. Each shower had shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The jacuzzi was indoor and very large. They provided towels for all of us as well. The out door deck was big and had an amazing view. The appliances were a great touch to make cooking easy. They provided pots, pans, extra towels, extra toilet paper, and trash bags. The heater in the house worked great for the large space it was heating. The home is very large and spacious. Parking indoors was an added bonus for one of the cars. Owner communicated with us very well and we felt right at home. The owner also accommodated our check in time. We didn’t want to leave at checkout because we had so much fun. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cabin we will be back.

Great place for a growing family!

The property is even bigger than imagined, with so much space for all members of our family to be at all times. The area is nice and close to local grocery stores and the lake. Will definitely be booking again when we return to lake arrowhead for Xmas in a couple years!

Glorious retreat

Our extended family had an absolutely wonderful stay! Our group included five adults and two children, and we had plenty of space to spread out. The hot tub and sauna were definitely the highlight, though we also loved the wood burning fireplace and recliners in the living room. The beds were all comfortable and everyone slept great. We did a lot of cooking and had all of the kitchen supplies we needed. The house is showing its age a bit, but that didn’t interfere with our stay at all. We had a bit of trouble with the Roku Tv (though we don’t use those ourselves and have no familiarity with the system). I might recommend bringing your own device and just connecting it to the TV (there are big TVs in all the rooms). Lake Arrowhead is a very easy drive, and there’s also a new Grocery Bargain Outlet right down the street. Overall, I would highly recommend this property, especially to large groups and families!

Great stay for young & old

The location is in a quiet friendly neighborhood close to nice spots like the Mountain History Museum. Check-in was simple, the house was accessed using a number code. The pool was already prepared for us and the barbecue grill was set up to use. Very clean house, and plenty of space for our big group including toddlers and their great-grandparent with limited mobility. Would definitely recommend and consider returning

A relaxing weekend

My girlfriends and I decided to go away for the weekend to relax and reconnect and Chateau Bernina delivered. First of all, check in is seamless! I never met the owner and I had a question for Michael and he responded immediately..very impressive response!! The Chateau was clean and the home was equipped with essentials in the kitchen and bathrooms. The bedrooms were clean and the beds were all comfy. The jets for the jacuzzi in the master bedroom did not work, but the indoor jacuzzi and sauna worked well. The open floor plan had a fantastic great room which included the kitchen, medium sized butcher block and a table with four chairs in the kitchen as well as a dining table that seats 10. There was a ceiling fan with a light fixture, but the bulb was really dim. That was a small thing that we didn't worry about, we worked with it! The neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. We saw folks walking and jogging so we joined in and made friends. Everything advertised was corrent and our stay was wonderful. Our group will return to Chateau Bernina!

This is our second stay at the chateau and there are many more stays to come. We decided on our very first stay last year, that this will be our family vacation house from now on. In the past, Christmas was our only family vacation but since we found this chateau, our family decided to add a second family vacation's per year because we can’t stay away! Love this place. Plenty of room to spread out You could go read a good book down stairs abd not be bothered by anyone. You could go play pool can even Go in the Jacuzzi and be all by yourself. Loved the kitchen. It had plenty of counter space to make lots of things on. We will be back again
