The description in the amenities of the house were on point. We had a great time and the community had a lot to offer. The host was very communicative and provided everything we would need to know for the stay. If we needed to get in contact with the host, he was very responsive. Would absolutely stay here again.

This property had absolutely EVERYTHING you could imagine. It was clean and cozy. It was only my husband, myself and our pups, however there is plenty of room for families. The weather was a bit rainy so the board games, record player and TVs definitely came in handy. The development is quiet with beautiful scenery, especially with the fall foliage. It looks like it would be a blast their during the summer as well. The property owner was responsive and very accommodating. We would definitely recommend this property.

Fun relaxing vacation.

For a relaxing vacation in an amenity filled community in the Poconos you can't find a better place. Our family had a great time, the house was full of fun games and my daughter and I had a great time playing on the Xbox. The pool down the street is very close and easy to get too. My son loved the finishing in the lake across from the house, we caught several large mouth bass. Sean is super friendly and will answer any questions you have as well as the welcome packet they send when you first book is full of useful information and makes the check-in process super easy. Thanks again for allowing us to stay in your home.

Great Week at WLE!

We had a wonderful stay at WLE on Lake Wallenpaupack! While the rental was smaller than our last, we enjoyed the cozy feel and loved being closer to the pool—it made for such a relaxing and convenient week.We’re incredibly grateful that the owners allowed us to bring our three dogs, which made the trip even more special. The kitchen was another highlight—high-end appliances and quality cookware made it easy to cook meals and feel right at home.One difference from our previous rental was needing to bring our own condiments, spices, and oils. It added a bit more prep on the front end, but in the end, we enjoyed having our own things with us.Most of all, we want to thank thenowners for being so kind, helpful, and accommodating—especially given some personal circumstances leading up to our trip. They were incredibly responsive and made the whole process smooth and stress-free.Overall, it was a great week, and we’d absolutely consider staying again!

This trip was wonderful!! So much to do and so peaceful at the same time. Lots of swimming and fishing opportunities. Great record collection. Beautiful view. We didn't want to leave! Our hosts were amazing- fun, down-to-earth good humans, and quick to respond to any questions we had. We highly recommend the Pocono Fountain House!

Weekend Getaway

We had a lovely time staying Christine and Shawn’s home. The amenities within the community are great. Hawley is a 15 minute drive away and has a great small town feel with loads of antique shops. There are some good hikes near by and the lake is beautiful. We had trouble trying to fit everything into one weekend. The house is clean and cozy and Shawn and Christine send you loads of info and recommendations making the trip easy and enjoyable

Wonderful house. Hot tub was great. Clean and organized. Games for kids. Record player was great. Alexa helped to ask some questions about the area. On the lake. Beautiful view. Host was accessible. The only tough part was trying to find the dumpster to throw out the trash. You have to drive for this.

Perfect getaway

I booked this place for a weekend and that was my only mistake. This place was fantastic. Hot tub overlooking the lake. A trail around the lake right outside your front door. Hulu live TV which was a great addition since I stayed Super Bowl weekend. And so much more! I went to have a quiet birthday weekend with my pup and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I got snowed in my second day there but even then I was able to make a day out of it. Getting in was so easy and everything is house was clean and neat. It really felt like I owned the cabin for the weekend. I didn’t have to ask for one thing, everything was prepared for my stay perfectly. Even if I did have to ask, communication was open at all times from booking to staying. Shawn was amazing!I can’t wait to book again during a warmer elongated week!

Family memories NYE 2024

We had such a time playing games and listening to old records. I loved being able to have my fur babies with us. Beautiful way to bring in the new year. The jacuzzi was hot and felt fabulous! Will definitely be back in the warmer months!!

Winter vacation

My partner and I stayed for three nights. Overall everything was great - communication with the owner was amazing, making for a seamless arrival/departure process. The house was exactly what we were looking for, and their openness to dogs made it a perfect fit for us and our 6-month old puppy. Overall one of the best poconos houses we’ve stayed at!

Peaceful

This was a perfect getaway. Away from the city, which a nice view to a lake. The owner was attentive. House had everything we needed. And more. It was just a peaceful home and cozy. The jacuzzi over looking the lake was a highlight.
