We stayed here during our anniversary weekend. We were all over Traverse City, filling our day with as much as we could...and this was a wonderful place to come back to after a long day. It had a very cozy and warm feeling and Barb was just wonderful! We would love to come back.

Very clean, tidy space. As the listing says, it’s an open layout without a separate bedroom. Lake Ann is a sweet little place, a great launch spot for Northern Michigan and a family-friendly vibe.

Barb was a fantastic host & pointed us to all kinds of kid friendly beaches and adventures. From this listing, you can walk right to the small & friendly downtown. We enjoyed the Lake Ann Brewery and live music each night. Barb included many amenities in the home & my two children and I were very comfortable. Very quaint, thoughtful & welcoming!

Perfect for us!

The studio apt above the garage was exactly what we needed. It was well equipped, cute, and very comfortable with everything we could possibly need for our weeklong stay. Barb is incredibly kind and has the sweetest dog named Dash who liked to greet us every day when we returned. Barb's gardens are gorgeous and the location of her place was perfect for easily accessing everywhere we wanted to go. Highly recommend!

Stay with personality in the heart of North Country

Barb’s place is even better than it looks in oics. Very beautiful gardems of bright flowers greet you. The space is very generous in size. Location is right in heart of Lake Ann, so couldn’t be easier to walk to pizza or a true general store. It is easy to get to Sleeping Bear, Leelanau and Traverse City Barb had the winner of scret beaches. Great value.

Apartment was very cute and in a great area. Very low key and relaxing and within walking distance of everything you need. We unfortunately did not get to meet Barb but she was available via text. Gardens are beautiful!!! Will definitely come back again

Our stay was wonderful! The owner was very welcoming and shared the information that only “locals” know about the area. This was a great help planning our adventures. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the weak and intermittent Wi-Fi. Wasn’t able to get any work done which may have been a blessing in disguise - more time to play! I would highly recommend a stay at the Lake Ann Loft.

Perfect place for two

We stayed three nights at The Loft at Lake Ann and it was the perfect spot for the two of us. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bed was comfy and the water in the shower was hot!! Our host was very easy to communicate with if we needed anything, and she provided it very quickly. We would absolutely recommend this spot if you're visiting the area!!

Fantastic place!

This rental is quaint and surrounded by nature. The kitchen is fully equipped which we loved. Also loved walking up to the local grocery, using the firepit for smores and cozy adirondacks for early-morning reading. Bed and pillows are heaven! Thank you, Barb!

Beautiful Quiet Loft for Two

We enjoyed a week-long stay at Barb's beautiful loft in Lake Ann. The suite had everything we needed, was decorated with lots of care, paintings and quality furnishings. Her gardens were lovely and the location was in the middle of everything we wanted to see and do in the NW Michigan area (south of the UP). Barb, was quick to respond to any questions from local places to visit and restaurants to enjoy. The check-in/check-out was bar far the easiest we've experienced and she is a most gracious host. Next time we're in the area, we're definitely to hoping to stay at this beautiful Lake Ann Loft. 5 Stars++

Perfect Loft

Barb’s Loft is a lovely place for a getaway. Clean and well equipped. Short drive to many beautiful locations. This was a return visit for us and we certainly will return! Barb is a wonderful host!
