Amazing Stay — Can’t Recommend Enough!We had an incredible stay at this VRBO and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making it feel welcoming from the moment we arrived.The location was perfect, offering both convenience and a relaxing atmosphere. The amenities exceeded our expectations, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The space was ideal for our group and gave us plenty of room to relax and enjoy our time together.The host was outstanding—responsive, helpful, and truly committed to making sure our stay was seamless from start to finish. Communication was clear and timely, which made the entire process stress-free.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a top-notch VRBO experience. We recently stayed at this condo in Maui and had a mixed experience. The unit was very clean, and the view off the lanai was absolutely beautiful—truly the best part of the condo.However, the condo itself felt quite dated and is in need of several minor upgrades, especially considering the price point. There was no light on the lanai, which made it impossible to enjoy meals or spend time out there after dark. The refrigerator doors couldn't open fully because they hit the counter, and the silverware had to be kept on the counter due to the lack of a suitable drawer. The kitchen also had only one plug, tucked back in a corner, making it very difficult to use appliances like the blender and toaster.On the positive side, Vacasa was great to work with and kept us well-informed leading up to our trip.Overall, we loved the view and the location, but the condo would really benefit from some thoughtful updates.

Best View Ever

While the unit is a bit dated & kitchen had only 2 regular glasses, the view is amazing!! The bed is very comfortable- slept great. Loved the passcode on the door so you don’t have to search for a key card. The hair care and body wash were great to have. Great location & loved the pools & Pickleball courts!! A great stay!

Wonderful Location, Excellent Host

My wife, myself and two family members stayed at this Kihei location for a week in January, 2024. The property was as described and we were very pleased. The view from the lanai is stunning, We observed whales and sea turtles every day. I snorkeled several times off the reefs directly on front of the property. The location is very convenient with an ABC Store within easy walking distance as well as restaurants and shops. The best thing about our stay was the host. Although Skye was not located in Maui, he was very attentive to our questions and requests before and during the stay. He did all he could to make our stay go smoothly. We did have a couple of minor issues with the property and he addressed them immediately. That is all I could ask from any host. We loved the property and would stay there again if the opportunity comes again. I do have to mention a couple of items about the property so that any future renters will be prepared. The main bedroom is wonderful with a separate bath and spectacular views of the ocean. However, the second bedroom is quite small, barley large enough for a full sized bed. Persons in that room may be disappointed. It would be great for kids though. Also, there is a large air conditioning unit that is on the lanai. Not only does it take up a lot of space, but when it is running is noisy and blows hot air. This was annoying at first, but turned out to be not much of an issue as we did not need to run the air very often.

Great property, Amazing location and wonderful host

We had a great stay at 706 Kannapali shores! Location and view is amazing! Check in process was very easy. Property has all the amenities as described.kitchen had all the appliances and was happy to see some basic spices already stocked. The view from balcony is amazing and beach is right there for a walk or swim. Sunset is visible from the balcony. Lot of food options in walking distance. Host had beach chairs and umbrella which came very handy. Great experience staying at the property! I highly recommend!

Great location and beautiful view from the lanai! The unit is a bit dated, but clean and spacious enough for 2-4 people. Resort staff was gracious and helpful, and the pool was lovely.

The view From balcony was beautiful

The hotel location and balcony was awesome. Renting from vacasa not so much. The fridge door divider was broken to pieces, we contacted Vacasa upon arrival and they said someone will come tomorrow or next day, nope we were dealing with the door entire 9 days , every time we opened the fridge it was extremely enjoying it. Shower’s head switch worked half of time, and there are other small things that need to be fix. No single coffee packet upon arrival but there was creamer and sugar. For 9 days we got 1 mini shower bottle and lotion for 3 people. That is not my first private rental and that is supper cheap. Resort is pretty, sunsets are great, food at beach club very average.

Wonderful stay. The condo has everything you need. Bed was comfortable. Unit was spacious and quiet. Washer and dryer in unit was a plus. The beach club restaurant and bar was excellent. Will definitely stay here again.

Surprised

Loved the condo, but, beware if there is a maintenance issue. Communication with Vacasa is horrible. The number they give you for non emergency is an Oregon number. It took 4 calls to Vacasa from 6:30 am to 4:00pm just to get tube lights replaced in bathroom because all the lights had burned out the night before. No windows in bathroom so very dark without lights. I am an easy laid back renter and have rented with many agencies before. Would not ever rent thru Vacasa in Maui again. With the high additional service fee you pay to them and another service fee to VRBO I am stunned at how unreliable Vacasa was with a simple situation.

Potential, but needing maintenance

Unit has potential, but is lacking in maintenance. The mattress has no business being in a short-term rental. It's not a matter of preference, it's a travesty. One of the deck chairs is broken. The refrigerator door coordinator needs repair. There was no room for groceries in the cabinets - we had to rearrange the dishes. The view is a 90 degree view to the northwest, so no sunsets. But it is still a good view. Saw whales, dolphins and flying fish. The resort is nice and fully open now. If the proper maintenance is performed, I would recommend.

Vacass responded quickly to our needs Only one bar is soap at bathroom vanity. Should have bar for shower /tub and liquid hand soap for kitchen, especially with Covid still an issue, also hand sanitizer Mattress could have been better. The view was great, saw many whales. Some cabanas were in disrepair. The Beach Club
